I have been shopping at Food max with my second 2nd wife and now my 3rd and still shopping at the Max. My son recently started doing the shopping but at whole foods? I noticed the difference right away. I told him to get most of the other stuff. But dad is getting all meats, tortillas, fruits, and whatever else I forgot. I'm on a fixed income, retired FU.worked in Kindergarten for 13 years . Best job ever.

Large variety of products available @ a very reasonable price. Store was clean, & the staff was pleasant.

It was a late night trip. There were only 3 other customers in store. It is wonderful to shop without distraction. The staff were staying busy with inventory and restocking, but still attentive to the customers....including me.
Another thing that i appreciated was the cleanliness of the store.

Great I went in the morning when it is not busy and Lynn was the checkout cashier who helped me. She is awesome and told me about additional promotions that would help me save on my shopping trip. Who doesn't like to save money? I'm very pleased with this visit and glad they have a cashier like Lynn. 😊

Easy to locate store. Some really great prices! Buying large items, or in bulk is easy to do here. The sales are usually awesome. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful! Lots of everyday items , and just love the fresh fruits and vegetables!

Later in the evening 2 casiers and the self checkout, stores clean and well stocked, brightly lit can't complain.

However they let people with full baskets clog up the self check line and the clerk's will not say anything to them because He say they will get in trouble if they do. so why have a sign that says 15 items or less if it's not enforced? (winco does) not so much Express checkout to me.. Nice store tho !

Have been shopping at FoodMaxx for over 25 years both in the Bay Area and now here in Fresno I think the prices are comparable the products are good, the vegetables are good quality. Most of the employees are personable. There is a lack of checkers no matter what time of day or night. But then it means they're busy but that's still no excuse. yeah so far so good

My daughter crystal took me w/her to buy food I had the list and she was the driver of the cart. This cart was amazing to me cause it was different it had a seat where an adult or older child could fit... And the store was very clean the employees were friendly...

Really clean and well stocked.

They are competitive. You can save on some items. Store appears to be clean and neat. Could be more customer friendly in regards to merchandise being placed for easy location. The products don't seem to be where you would expect them. Things in general are spread apart. Customers complain about items seemingly misplaced, and doesn't appear to fit any scheme.
Meat department and produce departments seem clean and orderly.

I love that they are 24 hrs. Just need to watch some of the prices. Walmart is cheaper...
They always have a clearance section. 2 weeks ago they had large bags of shelled peanuts or bags of pistachios for only $1. Heck of a deal. I sent some to the grand kids as well. So, I make my own trail mix. And store it in the freezer. Yum

Always have a great and helpful staff no matter what time of day. Prices are great and has a huge selection. Checkout lines can get long and take a little while to get through but, definitely worth it and isnt always a factor..

I love Clam Juice but I don't know about this clam juice...lol
