Dollar General

Modern, clean, and well stocked dollar general. The prices were reasonable, as is expected. Shelves were stocked and items were of good quality. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This is the first time I've been to the store on Beechmont. It was amazing when I walked in because it's huge. Anyways, I shop clearance and a lot of markdown items because I work for Urgent Care and I like to buy sick kids little goodies. I noticed your clearance items and it had 50% off on top of what they're already marked down so I spent a really good time in that section putting stuff in my basket. I was so excited because I got a lot of stuff for only $10. Amy, who is an employee, is super awesome and nice! My first question was I do get 50% off on top of the already marked down price correct. She did tell me no because the signs aren't down but she will go ahead and give me what I have in my basket since the sign was up. My heart about dropped when she told me no at first because I just spent a really good time going through all that stuff. LOL but she gave me my stuff that I had in my basket and was very nice about it and told me that it's not right to not do it because that's what it says and that's what I saw. Her customer service skills are phenomenal. I will definitely be back, and as matter of fact this will probably be my Dollar General I go to for now on. Thank you so much Amy for your time and generosity Dollar General is very lucky to have an employee like you! Keep up the good work!

To the person that left the review saying they closed early, you're not telling the truth. This store has always had the hours of 9am to 8pm. Always. So not sure how you can say they shut off the lights and signs and locked the door and 8:42pm according to you. Also, they don't control the lights inside or the signs. They automatically turn on and off when the store opens and closes. Also, even if they were open till 9pm, no way would they close the store that early unless it was for security reasons. Policy states you must have more than one employee when closing, so there have been occasions where stores have had to close early if an employee called off and they were unable to get a replacement at short notice. No one closed the door to be malicious. Sorry but I'm not buying it.

Love this store , I'm always finding something great , and the customer service is great as well , greet me when I come I'm and say see ya next week when I'm checking out lol .. Store is always clean and tidy and organized .

I was able to find everything I needed I didn't have to ask the shelves were very nicely kept and the cashiers were also very pleasant excellent job folks.

The Dollar General in Anderson is the Bomb!! They have all you need and more. Very organized and loaded with more than expected. This is my new DG go to!

Employees are very helpful and kind. I stopped to just get "1 or 2 things" & got waaaay more than that. They were helpful when asked for help & quick lines at the register.

Shopping at a Dollar general store is always quick and efficient. The store is not overcrowded and they have unique items at times.

Good selection of greeting cards, gift bags, wrapping paper, etc. 1/3 of the prices of Kroger or similar stores

The store mamager is excellent the staff great.a large varity goods.clean and orgsnized.

I like you can buy array of things for just a dollar a piece. And all workers there have been very nice.
