Mike, Dan and their team did an H55F manual transmission swap into our 1989 FJ62 Land Cruiser. I also purchased a Dobinsons 2" lift from them and had them install it. They gave me a great deal on some new 33" tires as well. Had them do brakes, tie rods and other various repairs as well. Couldn't be more happy with the end result. These guys do it all and do it well! 5 stars!

I took my wife's 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in to have the skid plate remounted and adjusted. A great experience all around. Dan was great and they did a professional job. No more creaks and cracks. Grants Pass Toyota didn't want anything to do with it. Well done fellas. We will be back! Highly recommend!

Mike is a true expert technician for everything TOYOTA. He and his team work fast and his pricing is exceptionally fair. We have 8 Toyota trucks in our family and Mike's is our go to shop. He is also an excellent source for retail aftermarket parts and truck toys. Top shelf service at it's best!

I have consistently had amazing installation experiences with this hardworking shop. Mike and his crew are truly incredibly honest and fair in their estimates and do amazing work. They installed a complete Ironman 4x4 Foam cell Pro Stage 2 kit for me and also have done miscellaneous upgrades like upgrading my front driver-side bushing to a clamshell bushing from the prone-to-failure needle bushing on my 2015 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. They do great work and there is no place better around here for a true off-road and overland oriented shop. Not to mention, they sell awesome offroad gear and are a dealer for some excellent, boutique equipment manufactures like James Baroud!

Mike helped us out with an MSA 4 x 4 drop fridge slide when all of our leads were dead ends. They are super helpful, responsive and knowledgeable with the line. Thanks for giving us a hand with our build!

Came down to Mikes Custom Toys today from Aurora Oregon and had him rebuild my Icon Reservoir shocks on my 2008 tundra great service and let's just say WOW! What a difference actually enjoyed the ride back home I would highly recommended them to anybody looking for offroad parts an repairs

I stopped here on the way up the coast after being recommended this shop for my 3rd Gen Tacoma. I originally had intentions to get a particular lift done on my truck but after further discussion with the team, I was recommended an even more capable lift at a much better rate! Clark and the guys there were incredibly nice and even gave me a ride into town while my truck was in the shop. I had a lift and tires installed, all professionally done in good time with zero complaints or problems.

Nothing but good things to say! Will return again when I am back in the area.

I had a Redarc trailer brake controller installed by Mike, in addition to other work on my tundra. I love it! Great service, great quality, and great people!

So stoked to be in an area with a shop like this. Mike did a great job on my 04 double cab, he and his shop are very honest and reliable. He installed a new offroad bumper serviced my differentials and fixed my breaks. I have a laundry list of upgrades I will be bringing my truck back in for periodically, customer for life! If you have a Toyota truck and want excellent work done and good customer service Mike's is where it's at.

If you have any off road work to do on your truck this is the place. Very knowledgeable mechanics that go out of their way to answer ANY question you have. I drove all the way from San Francisco to have my Tacoma worked on here.

I have known Mike for several years and as a man and marine there are few better people out there. Mike has kept my old Toyota running and riding like a dream for a long time. I know there are rarely good mechanics any more and Mike is absolutely the best I know. I wouldn't allow just anyone to put their mitts on my all-time favorite old toy and Mike is always welcome. I trust his judgement on all matters and also trust that he knows how to locate whatever problem I may have with my vehicle. He brought the old Toyota back from the brink of death and I love my truck and appreciate all of his hard work over the years.

Such a great experience dropping our Tacoma off with Mike to have the suspension rebuilt. Pros: straightforward, knowledgeable, super pleasant. Cons: I really wish this shop was closer to us, but that’s not Mike’s fault.

I hesitate to talk him up too much, since it's getting harder to get an appointment ;-) But seriously, the reason is - he's the best. I feel very fortunate to have Mike's Custom Toys so close... those of us in Southern Oregon are lucky MCT is in the neighborhood... Mike is renowned regionally if not nationally, and for good reason. The work is impeccable, the advise is sage and the prices are exceedingly fair.

I may not have carried out this costly desire had I not found Mike's Custom Toys online via Wheeler's offroad website. Researching supercharger & suspension upgrade as an alternative to the absurd cost of new replacement of my high mileage 2nd generation Tacoma 4x4. Mike himself responded to email request for information immediately. My initial questions were answered in a few emails & after brief phone conversation, I felt comfortable taking next step to leave my truck with an auto mechanic shop 4 hours drive away from my home. I rented a car & left my beloved daily driver with Mike for a week. Not only did Mike shuttle me to the car rental company, he sourced all equipment with competitive pricing & kept in touch with daily updates via text, email, Facebook & phone. Mike completed upgrades within the cost & time frame previously agreed upon. When picking up Truck, Mike prudently suggested concerns & things I should be aware of. Trustworthy, honest, and real, I wish Mike lived closer to us but Grants Pass has gained a good one. Well worth driving from Nor Cal to install and rebuild my custom suspension. If you have an off road rig with non standard suspension Mikes your go to guy, its his specialty.
