ACME Markets

This is the best ACME I've shopped at! I live in Overbrook but the Michael's on City Avenue didn't have what I wanted and the Newtown Square one did. Since the Michaels and ACME are next to each other, it was convenient.

Clean, orderly, employees were walking around checking on things and checkout was fast.

Well worth the 20 minute drive (about the same timing if I went up City Avenue in traffic). Drive straight up West Chester Pike and the shopping center is on the left. Don't get caught in the left lanes going to I476!

I usually go to a different Acme but i was in the area so i ran in to get a few things. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the store. Also the cashier who rung me up was great, very helpful i forgot a gift card for my son he helped me find it and made sure it was the right one. Good Customer service like that makes a customer to choose that store over the rest. The cashier's name was Sean very kind and extremely helpful.

I am a frequent acme shopper. I've always had a positive experience at the Newtown Square Acme. On a recent visit I hit a snag with my credit card. My checkout person, Joanne was so patient and so helpful! I was able to get it straightened out and I truly appreciated her help!

Clean store, lots of food on shelf to pick over, staff quick to answer questions on location of needed food. Good experience all around.

I love this Acme, the staff is great and I find everything I am looking for.

This Acme is always clean, excellent with crowd-control and Covid cleaning, fresh produce, and great sales! Helpful staff and fast checkout lines, too.

Update: still a very clean store. They also have great in-store sales and a really good app where you can get even more savings!

Prices are generally more expensive compared to other similar stores but when things go on sale they're often better than sale items at those other stores. So keep an eye out for sales. The staff here are always friendly, pleasant, and seem happy to be there and help.

Was in early for last minute groceries for the holiday. I was looking for a diabetic friendly dessert. The baker told me to come back at 2:30 and she would have a sugar free pumpkin pie for me. Absolutely delicious! It's been 3 months since my diagnosis and the first time I've had dessert since then. Thank you so much!

I stopped at the Acme on March 12th to shop for supplies during this difficult time. They had everything in stock except for the cleaning supplies that I needed. However, there was plenty of meat, paper products, water, bread and other item . The staff was pleasant and helpful even though the customers seemed to be in a panic. Thank you to the staff for giving excellent customer service even when things were hectic!

Walked in for some things on my way home from school. Greeted by the friendly and sweet older lady at the front door who offered me a circular. This Acme is pretty personal feeling. All the employees that I dealt with trying to find some things we're extremely friendly and helpful. Also their steaks are fantastic. The prices are very reasonable. Again this is one of the best grocery stores I have ever been in service wise. And I work at a competing grocery store!

Great store. The parking lot is very easy and there’s not too many cars to make it impossible to get in/out. They have plenty of lanes open and even offer self checkout, if you’re in a rush. I knew what I wanted and wasn’t bothered at all by the staff, which was a pleasant surprise.

I love this Acme, but I didn't like the seafood that I had purchased for a boil with my children. But overall the store is clean, follows covid-19 regulations, not crowded and it has everything.

The deli department is fantastic, great service from great people there. But the store manager is not very good at all and is bad for the store. It's a shame he's in Newtown he needs to go!

Love the acme, just like any other store the prices are little steep but it's easy it convenient and has what I need.

Found what was on my list. In and out quickly. The store was fine but their online shopping list is terrible. I can't imagine anyone at the corporate office uses it which makes me wonder if they even shop at Acme. I've shopped their since the late 1970's.

We have shopped at Acme Markets for many years. I can always count on them for brand name products. The store was stocked well even during the pandemic!

5 stars because this Acme has been a staple in this community for decades with friendly staff. Some more innovation from Acme would be nice though to compete with newer food chains.

I went to the Acme in Newtown Sq., PA and requested a chicken salad hoagie with gourmet chicken salad. This is not a normal hoagie that they have ready everyday. Debbie said no problem with my request and then had to make a new batch of the salad as they were out. I love the people at the Newtown Sq., PA Acme
