ACME Markets

Glad I walked to this store! There isn't an ACME in my neighborhood, but I love their coupons and mobile app. I'll make a long trip to one of their locations when the weather is nice to take advantage of sales and stretch my legs. This store is a little more compactly designed than other locations I visited, but shelves were mostly full and the staff was nice.

Produce and everything looked good, and the sandwiches I grabbed from the deli were made quickly. I will be back!

As a frequent visitor to this ACME store, I've consistently been impressed with its well-stocked aisles and no-nonsense approach. The store excels in providing exactly what it promises: a comprehensive range of products that reliably meet my everyday needs. It's refreshing to shop in a place that focuses on delivering quality without unnecessary frills.

The store's service deserves a mention too. It's professional and efficient, subtly enhancing the shopping experience without being overly prominent. This balance of good stock and competent service makes each visit satisfactory and keeps me returning for more.

I have always preferred shopping at ACME. The quality of the food items is quite good. They have a large selection of veggies and breads and just about anything else that a person could use.
I love the seafood section. And the meats and chicken are always good.
The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a pleasure to shop here.

The only area of improvement that they could work on. Is the deli section. I ordered a small amount of roast beef. Then I saw the slicer. It's appearance was shocking. Pieces of meat and cheese all over it. I was going to cancel but I didn't. When we got home I discarded the roast beef.

I'm still giving it 5 stars. Because 95% of this ACME is very nice.

Freshly renovated Acme with a liquor/beer dept, and good quality produce, seafood and meat. Offers free validated parking in the enclosed adjacent garage. I find great deals each time I visit, like buy 1/get 1 shrimp rings, and produce. Check out their deli department, especially their freshly made hoagies (often 2/$10). Cashiers and staff are generally helpful and friendly. Download their Just4U app to earn $off rewards each time you shop.

Great neighborhood staple grocery store. Clean, organized, with well-stocked shelves. Nice variety of fresh produce. Not a lot of check-out personnel, but self-checkout is an option. Friendly staff overall. Decent selection of non-dairy products. I'll definitely shop here again.

Now that 6 self checkout lanes have been added, visits are usually quick.

It's clean and nice store. There's good choice of fresh food. My only store because it's close to go. I love the brand pizza when they're on sale, and the fresh soups are so delicious😋👍

Clean and friendly and fast make payment no need waiting long time

They have a decent selection of products and checkout is quick. The only time I had a less then stellar experience was I was unable to purchase beer and wine because there was no one there to perform that checkout. I understand short staffing and the like so I'm not going to let that effect my score.

This time around it was pleasant. I had a wonderful young man as the cashier... he was amazing. Looks like he really likes his job. His name is Conner. Great customer service skills. Keep up the good work Conner you do stand out from the rest.

I'm fortunate enough to have a clean, well stocked Acme that I can walk to! The employees are helpful and friendly and never forget your face! They're are plenty of organic, vegetarian/vegan/gluten options at a reasonable price range.

I shop here alot. They have most of everything I need. I wish they had Lydia's pasta to go along with her sauce. Also, the original Dunkin creamer. Great selection of Perdue chicken. The staff is great.

Been going to this ACME for past 7 years. Great prices, free parking, good selection. A Philadelphia staple. I’ve been to Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Sprouts, Giant, etc. Aldi is maybe the only store that can compete in prices. But if you’re looking for a one stop grocery store with all the staples at a really good price ACME is the spot. Produce is decent, nothing terribly exotic or extravagant but has what you need.

Throughout the last year this ACME on South St has managed to keep the necessary items in stock and some delicious new things too. Always busy, the staff is friendly and helpful Good wine selections with new selections for summer.

My first time shopping there, I was able to get what I needed. One small issue, the isles were so narrow. All in all, its a nice market

Update: I believe I'm going to make this my favorite market. They have oui french yogurt, which is the best!

This Acme is pretty small, but the have everything. There is parking, which is kind of pricey. It's clean and not that crowded. I like this store, its good if you live near the South Street area.
