B J's Health Food Store

My family made a stop to this location and it was awesome. We met a woman that worked there, by the name of Pam. Pam made shopping easy and had knowledge of just about everything there. I will be returning if I enjoy the products.

I really enjoy shopping here. The mgr Pam, is very knowledgeable and helpful.

I was pleased with this health food store, which I visited while passing through Sumter.

The facility was easy to find, and I was able to buy several high-quality products that were, as far as I know, unavailable elsewhere in the town. I was waited on by two friendly ladies (who engaged me in good conversation before I left). In the event tjat I pass back through Sumter, I will probably stop at BJ's again.

Unimpressed with the customer service, the woman I spoke to didn’t seem as though she really wanted to help me and had a bit of an attitude. Treated me like I was intruding on her time speaking to the people who were sitting in her store (looked like friends just visiting). Could definitely be more friendly and welcoming. I was really looking forward to the fact that there was a health food store down the street from my house and she completely ruined my experience.

The store is small but has some stuff I use (essential oils, arrowroot powder, pure shea, etc) so I was excited to find it. Then the lady at the counter scolded my kid for picking up a plastic bottle of supplements. My daughter was just mimicking what I was doing, picking up and looking at an item, and her actions were harmless, not deserving of a scolding. Maybe the shop keeper has had some unruly kids come in before so she wasn't taking chances with mine, but her actions did not make me feel like I was welcome in the store with my kids. I try to shop local when possible, but I can find the same products at comparable/cheaper prices online. I doubt I'll return.

The old lady working the desk is one of the most insufferable excuses for a human I ever had the displeasure of encountering. What an epic P.O.S.

The store was stocked nicely and they had a lovely selection of natural things. However, the lady was very nasty. It was as if she didn’t want to be there helping. There was also another situation we got into where I had to come back to the store but it’s a long story. The store would be 5 stars if she was a better worker.

There is a lady there with a short haircut who is very rude & needs to be fired. I asked her where something was & she acted as if she didn’t want to show me. They have a large variety of supplements but because of her attitude & customer service I will not be shopping there again.

Store hours are jacked up most people get off at 5 and they aren't open on Saturday.
