One of the people that work here used to work at the storage place nearby and she is always the nicest, sweetest, kindest, and most awesome person I've encountered working at a gas station / convenience store...a vouple of weeks ago, I was super sick and trying to make it to see my grandmother while she was still conscious (she's now in hospice and what's probably a permanent sleep and will be passing away any day now) but my debit card had just snapped almost completrly in half abd I only had two dollars and was on empty and was in tears but she gave me $15 in gas money out of her own pocket and told me not to worry about paying her back which I have to do no matter what she says because she was my lifesaver and my hero in that moment and she deserves to be paid back double for the immense kindness she did for me that day. Their selection of stuff is a bit limited compared to bigger Spinxes and especially to their main competitor, QuikTrip (QT), but getting to see this lady when I go there and having the honor and pleasure of getting to interact with such a lovely person makes up for all of that.

Clean, quick, friendly.

This store is just down the road from me. I have gone to Spinx for over 15 years. Most employees are helpful and even entertaining. Tonight, one of them helped an order couple place an order on the menu screens. That's what is up. However, there are a few young bucks who try ta get over. These are the ones in kitchen. When I pay $22 for fresh chicken tenders, and the box is cold, I'm gonna speak up. The manager and lead cook took care of me, so all good. Too bad they have to work with people who have as bad an attitude as Marcus. Yeah, Marcus, people notice your attitude, and do not like you.

Great gas station for snacks and whatnot but I order two tenders and two wedges. It took 20 minutes to get the food and it wasn’t the right food. It was also cold. I’ve done 2 orders at the kitchen in the past and all of them have been wrong.

Food do not be fresh 😖😖

Never have enough cashiers. Been waiting over ten minutes in line at 11 o’clock at night. This has happened to me multiple times. If you’re trying to make a quick stop, this ain’t the place.

So I pulled into Spinx with my truck to fill up with gas. Figured I’d wash my windshield while I was there. Grabbed the squeegee brush. The barrel was empty. Went to the next filling station. That was empty. Walked across to the next filling station it was empty. Walked across to the next filling station and yes it was empty. All the windshield washing stations were empty. Went into the store to make a purchase and ask the person behind the desk why are they empty. Person behind the desk says they’re getting tired of retrieving trash out of it so they’ve decided not to fill them. This doesn’t seem to be a problem with QT. You guys got to do better.

Today 6/8 I visited this location as I do almost on a daily basis. Being a locally owned company I like to spend my money here. At around 8:30pm a gentleman in front of me put multiple items in his pocket while standing in checkout line. Cashier saw it. When I got to register I brought it to their attention again and they told me they didn’t care.
This concerns me greatly as it does nothing but promote more theft/damage/illegal activity if nothing is addressed.
Why build a brand new store in a prominent community but hire employees that could care less about the law or illegal activities happening right in front of them? Only reason is someone is being paid to keep quite.
SPINX is a company started in Greenville and has grown based on its values and business practices over the years. Seeing this and the response from employees is concerning and my company business will be going elsewhere. What else is happening that they are ignoring

On Wednesday April 7,2022 I visited this location as I do everyday. I spoke with Big Ang & was very specific about my request. Tiara always cooks my chicken tenders long enough so it's what i expect from all employees. I also requested to have tenders that were not too big. Big Ang promised to deliver great food. I received my order & returned home which is 3 minutes away to find 2 huge tenders that were not cooked all the way. I promptly returned to the store and I've listed the chain of events below.

•At 6:30 I returned my soggy and undercooked chicken tenders.
•I was met by Marcus & requested tenders be cooked longer.
•When requesting tenders be cooked longer, Marcus made me feel incompetent when asking about getting tenders cooked longer. He asked me the same question 4 times and made me feel like I was crazy for even wanting it cooked longer.
•Big Ang avoided me & never addressed my concerns. She eventually decided to leave work early so she never fixed my issue she messed up.
•6:44 pm Edwin was seemingly annoyed when I asked for my tenders to be cooked longer. He was rolling his eyes & tried to passive-aggressively manipulate me by making me feel as if i was making an outlandish request for chicken I had paid for.
•Marcus bought the tenders to me twice asking if they were right but he spoke to me in an embarrassing way in front of others to try & make me look stupid.
•When I got the next order home they had now given me old wedges but I let it go & decided I would move forward because things would be better.

I did not visit Thursday April 8,2022 because I was still disturbed by the events from Wednesday evening.

On Friday April 9,2022 I went in the store at 8:30 pm. Edwin was very rude when assisting me. He is never pleasant & always seems annoyed but he was extra rude when I visited Friday night. Since I had issues the last time I visited the store, Marcus was not nice like he usually is but instead very rude as well. I'm tired of dealing with people's attitudes at this location like they're having a tantrum because I complain about THEIR bad attitudes. I've talked to the manager Jamie on multiple occasions but the employees do not respect her authority so therefore they ignore things she addresses.

I must commend Genesis because she is one of the only people who is consistently nice to me. I also spoke to the District Manager previously about an incident involving Tanisha yelling at us (customers) for coming in so close to closing time & slowing down her ability to leave work on time. She assured me things would get better but only gotten worse. This is not high school & I'm not going to be picked on because I speak up for myself. I spend too much time & money in Spinx to be mistreated & it's not fair for any consumer to be treated without regard.
