BMW Zentrum

My husband and I visited BMW Zentrum museum 10 years ago, now I came back myself. Enjoyed a one hour “ glimpse “ tour to see plant processes. Nice to see robots working on the field. If you like to see how a car rear hatch, doors, and hood attached to the vehicle by high-precision robots and more, book online ahead. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it too. Thanks again!

Had a friend visiting and we decided to go to the 1 hour tour at the BMW Zentrum.
Before and after the tour you can browse around the museum and take a look at a few BMW models. From the very first produced BMW, to the 1 Millionth produced BMW, to the newest X model.
The museum also includes a nice little gift shop.
The tour was great and gave us some insights of their production, assembly and painting line. Each touring group has a max of 11 people and we had to walk in a single file line. In order for all of us to hear the tour guide, we all got a headset with adjustable volume. I would have preferred actual headphones instead of the doctor like telescope type but it was okay. Everyone got safety glasses as well.

It is amazing place with a stunning beautiful, shining cars, gift shope and cafe. There is a James Bond's 007 car over there, bmw bikes and 1st manufactured car of this plant with 700 signatures of emploees, who participated in assembling this car. I was impressed.

Enthusiasts of BMW will find great pleasure in visiting this museum, which houses both classic and contemporary models, making it a destination of significance, albeit its compact size. The fact that the museum's admission is complimentary, coupled with its convenient proximity to the highway, facilitates the exploration experience.

Furthermore, the inclusion of the M Driving School, factory tours, and other activities contributes to creating an appealing environment for automobile aficionados.

Always enjoy seeing legacy cars and new model cars on display. Videos give glimpses of the production process with just-in-time arrival of components, how robotics assist with heavy lifting during assembly.

Had an amazing time getting to see the sheer size of this facility, How organized everything is, clean and super efficient every thing runs. Seeing behind the scenes help solidify why BMW is the ultimate driving machine. The tour staff was very enjoyable Faye was our guide and remarkably knowledgeable. Fantastic tour! Took the basic guided museum tour, and thoroughly enjoyed it! I’ve been to BMW Weld in Mūnchen, and I had just as much fun at this museum. Smaller, but still full of interesting information. Judy was my tour guide, and she was outstanding. I’m eager for the tour expansions, one of which is coming very soon, while others are anticipated to come on line later this year.

Woof what a wunderbar welcome center open to the public during weekdays.

Its got a lot of history for Bmurr loving pups like us and makes for a fun and unique pit stop.

I made a quick stop as I was driving through South Carolina. I I really enjoyed seeing the history of the BMW brand.

High quality experience. Informative and enjoyable. Gigantic futuristic factory buildings and amazing Zentrum museum architecture. Alicia the tour guide was charming and full of facts. Don't know how BMW offers this international theme park quality tour for so little cost.

If you are into cars and the history of them... this is the place to take a tour! It was so interesting and our tour guide was so informative. Loved it and will definitely be going back to take more friends and family that's just how great it was. Also, you don't have to be a car buff to enjoy it....

We visited the Zentrum as part of the paid 45-minute tour. The tour is a must-do if you've never been. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming with a lot of knowledge. Such interesting stories and history.

The museum itself is small but the cars in it are in incredible condition. The best part is the factory tour that starts from the museum. I did the 1-hout tour and it was really incredible. Definitely worth the entry! You usually need to get tickets for the tours ahead of time though!

Am excellent facility. I’ve taken the plan tour recently and they manufacture the BMW X series vehicles here. The museum has some cool cars showcased.

Our family really enjoyed our tour and visit to the museum. My son especially loved seeing the robotic assembly of the vehicles. The museum had interesting cars to see. The employees were all friendly and professional. The only suggestions for improvement would be to offer a longer tour where we could see more of the assembly of the cars. And the earpieces of the headphones were really uncomfortable.

Awesome experience taking the BMW factory tour. They were on a production halt in the first assembly building which while rare can happen since it’s a live manufacturing facility.

My favorite car brand BMW and this factory produces X line suvs and electric in future they got factory tour 2.5 hr with body shop and assembly line walk through beautiful and amazing experience to tour BMW production factory and also Zentrum BMW museum which have their old to new collection.

Definitely take the tour! The factory is incredible and the machinery they use is awesome to watch. Keep in mind they're fairly strict with policies and procedures during the tour. It's fun, but they do have to keep things moderated.

If you are close to the town of #Greer, #South Carolina, one #tourist-attraction you don’t want to miss is #BMW Zentrum a.k.a. #BMWMuseum. And if you are a #carlover, it may be even mandatory. If you do not have time for a plant tour, definitely go for this #museum.

Instead of making it too wordy, let me say it has #Z8 (007 #Bond car), #Formula1 #FW22-02 …. all the way to cuties like #Ihle Dixi from 1930 and #Isetta (micro-car)

My family and I really enjoyed touring this Museum.
If I remember correctly I think it was free for us at the time. We even bought many souvenirs from their local shop with a nice cafe.
I'd love to come back sometime and try their driving school which I hear is one of the best! It was really fun to tour around and take pictures and learn more about the history of BMW and what makes them pretty special and Technical! We pretty much had the place to ourselves in early June. My pictures I'm including are few years old but they were so fun to take with the kids I wanted to share them with my positive review.
