A friend recommended southwest arms and I just want to say how impressed I was. I am glad I came to southwest arms and purchased my gun. The staff was very friendly, respectful, helpful, etc. I could keep going on, and on about the positive experience at southwest arms. I will definitely come back again for future purchases. So if you are looking for new gun purchase come check this place out, they are amazing.

As a female shooter and gun enthusiast this was the best shopping experience I’ve had at any gun store by far. The customer service here is second to none. All of the employees were welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and at no point did I ever feel uncomfortable asking questions. The store was clean, organized, and you don’t get the crabby old man attitude like you do at some other places. Plus I got an amazing deal on the rifle I purchased. Only place I’ll be buying firearms from going forward. Highly recommend.

Great selection of fire arms here. The store is very clean and organized. More so a modern arsenal over older guns. Great selection!!! SCARS, AUGS, MP5s, BERETTAS, you know name! Knowledgeable staff. As for my purchase.. came in to get a CENTURY ARMS AP5-P. They had a great variety of different options for this fire arm too. Got delayed and they called me the following day letting me know it was ready for pick up. What makes these guys stand apart from the other dealers was their phone call… in my experience, every time i get delayed I never get a phone call. They just say pick it up in 5 days and that’s it. These guys were actually on top of it and checking my App and the moment they got the green light they called me saying it was ready for pick up! I will Absolutely be back!! Already have another AP5 on order with them!

I never leave reviews, but I feel like I have to tell the world about how great Southwest Arms is compared to their competition in South Minneapolis. Let me start by saying that I am a gun enthusiast that appreciates great customer service. I literally went into 6 gun shops in one day, searching for my first AR. I kid you not, I could not even get a "Hello" or "Welcome to our store" from the first 5 that I walked into. When you walk into Southwest Arms, that is a completely different story.

Even though the store was extremely busy, within the first 15 seconds I was greeted and welcomed to their store. Every employee took the time to say hello to me, asked me how they could help and were very knowledgeable to simplify my decision making process. They even had some of the accessories that I was looking for in stock. Checking out was a breeze and they really took great care of me from start to finish.

About a week later, I received a hand written thank you card from the owner thanking me for my purchase. No one does this anymore and let me tell you it makes all the difference. These guys get it and it will be the only gun shop I go to from now on.

Told me about the gun show at the fairgrounds this weekend. My Dad and I had a blast! Ended up purchasing from them at the gun show. They had the best price on the model I purchased (by $50-100).

Great experience. I have used Southwest Arms for my last 3 purchases. This is the first time I have gone to his new store. We had a discussion about what weapon I wanted, which he did not have. I was able to pick it up in 3 business days after I ordered it. Every purchase has been an excellent experience. John and his wife are great people.

Made my first trade in/purchase with these guys today. They will be my first choice from now on. They are knowledgable and answer questions without their opinions, unless you ask, so that you can make a good choice. I never felt like I was being "sold", but felt like I was "armed" (pun intended) with the information I needed to make an informed choice. Never felt rushed or unimportant as a customer and they are super friendly. I checked out several other places and chose them. They also have the best prices that I've seen too! Pretty rare that I leave reviews but Southwest Arms deserves it due to their customer service. Jan was very helpful. Not pushy at all, answered any questions I had, got me in and out without a hassle.

I actually was there because they were running a deal that month on the Shield and I was looking for a sub-compact. When I've checked online, they have some solid rotating deals so I should probably mention that too.

I liked the place enough where I recommended it to my brother who also purchased a Shield from them. And I did that BEFORE I received a hand written note from John thanking me for my business. I've never had an establishment send me a written note like that. Very impressed with them all around. I'll be using them for future purchases. Thanks guys!

For me as a first time gun buyer, Anthony helped me decide on a very happy purchase, the price was unbelievable compared to other stores I looked into. And the cash/credit prices on ALL GUNS hard to pass up, And when I came back to pick it up they were very helpful as it was towards the end of there day. Definitely will have my business a lot more as I get into it.

The crew at Southwest are great!! I knew what I wanted and had given them a call to inquire about FFL transfers and figured I'd just ask and see if they had the gun I was looking for. I was pleasantly suprised when Jerry said he had one in stock. The wife and I rode the bike down to Savage to check it out, and boy I'm glad I did!! Great price on a gun that was better than I expected and the customer service was top notch!! They had a great selection of firearms, so I had some nice eye candy to look at while I was waiting. I will definitely be spending my gun allowance with Southwest Arms. Thanks guys for being helpful, knowledgeable and patient. We will definitely be back!! 😎

I’ve been to plenty of stores and never have I received such amazing customer service. Not only did jerry help me find a perfect firearm but also stayed after closing to wait for my arrival. The passion these guys have is unmatched. I will be buying my firearms with southwest arms and would recommend shopping with them to everyone. Inventory was fantastic and is worth atleast a visit. Bought a used P01 that I had been hunting around for a good price for awhile and saw what turned out to be one of the owner's personal guns. Shop was nice enough for me to hold the gun until my arrival later that day and quick with my purchase. Owner was a nice guy and both a salesman and woman were friendly as well. Knowledgeable staff that I would recommend any novice to visit and feel confident that the shop would sell a quality product to them. By the way if you didn't already notice, their prices on used guns are pretty great as well

Wife and I visited the store four times before we each decided to buy new pistols. Both pistols were a little special, and the owners had no issue at all ordering them at a great price. (Delivery - 3 business days)

The owners are knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. Even if you do have a question that can't quite be answered, there is probably another customer in the store who will be willing to join the conversation.
