My friend and I went here to shoot and the men who worked here were all super helpful. I hadn’t shot in a long time and needed some additional coaching, and there was one gentlemen in particular who continued to come back and check on us to see if we needed additional guidance. I was very impressed with how welcoming these men were to two women (in a male-dominated business), and I did not feel uncomfortable at all. Definitely recommend!!

Great place to practice. Easy to get to, right on 42. Several lanes and a nice setup. Helpful and knowledgeable guys watching the lanes and handling the counters. Just had their gunsmith replace my sights. Great job at a good price. If this is a hobby for you and you haven't already been here, stop in.

I took my CCW Classroom Instruction at the Modern Sportsman during the pandemic and I was awed by the facility, the staff, and the experience.

I had been shopping at another establishment and every firearm I purchased had to be ordered and was usually a 4-6 month wait, and ammunition was almost non-existent.

Modern Sportsman has amazing instocks of sidearms, rifles, specialty weapons, suppressors, etc. When I was customizing my AR, the team was not only helpful and knowledgeable, but there were multiple times when I attempted to purchase needlessly expensive options, and they helped me optimize the best accessories for my needs.

I eventually signed up to be a Platinum+ member and have never regretted it. I use the Member's Lounge almost every time I visit. The range is clean and above all, safe.

The staff helped me with the ATF forms I needed to purchase a Short-barrel platform as well as my suppressor. They made what might have been a confusing process straight-forward and easy!

The staff at Modern is great when I bring in guests, they Range Safety Officers provide a sense of security and safety regardless of the level of shooters on the firing line.

I have seen the RSO step in on occasion to provide some needed coaching to shooters who were at risk of creating an unsafe situation, and they did so with professionalism and courtesy.

Professional shooter, or someone looking for a introductory experience, this is a clean, safe, and top-class establishment!

Make sure you ask for Tristan he knows some of everything very friendly and he gets it all done at once, which makes you want to come back for MORE! Upgrade HIM ASAP! Oh yeah and make sure you ask for Sandy when it comes to FFL transfer or online ordering. She is very good and response fast.

Purchased some ammunition for my son from them. Being in California means there are specific processes that must be followed and not all vendors are willing to sell to CA. They were very easy to work with and shipped much quicker than expected. Items were exactly as described. Will definitely do business with them again!
