Kirby Foods Tuscola

The store is brand new! It's kind of hard initially finding what you need, as even they attendants and staff who work there are still figuring the layout themselves. I expect very soon it'll be easy navigation through the store once everyone settles. Prices are what you'd expect, this isn't Walmart so don't expect to pay bare minimum prices. The deli here, in my opinion, will rival that of any store, if not outright beat them. They had a massive selection of pastas, meats, homemade meals, cheeses, desserts, etc and the deli itself runs probably 40-50 feet long so it's pretty big.

I bought 30 pieces of fried chicken for our family dove hunt today. It was the best!

Everyone enjoyed it and it was cooked perfectly and not over salted. We will definitely get this again.
Also, everyone is always so friendly in the deli and the store.

What a great grocery store! We were in town for a wedding and the only meal options were fast food or places with too much food so we opted to check out Kirby Foods. We purchased a rotisserie chicken and some sides and ate it in the hotel dining room. It was perfect and was quite affordable. We also needed an OTC med and were able to purchase the generic version for even more savings. So grateful we didn't have to drive 30 minutes to find a grocery store/pharmacy. Employees were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. If we lived in the area, this is definitely where we'd shop.

The Store is Much Better than the previous, thats a given. Lots of merchandise to choose from. Only 2 complaints from me, #1 the staff ,not all of them , but a lot of them , were rude, unfriendly, we tried to ask a question and staff no smile, hardly even speaks, just uncomfortable, # 2 the prices are expensive, on everything. Unless its a marked down item or a sale on a particular item. I realize we have inflation and stuff going on in the real world with our economy and government, but its a small town, and theres lots of small towns nearby that shop for the convenience of Tuscola,.. but id rather spend the extra $ 5.00 and drive to Champaign, Savoy, and Mattoon, to shop, at Aldies, Ruler Foods, and Wal-Mart, to save money on our groceries. Personally i only go to Kirby in Tuscola or Arthur once in a blue moon, cause of the ungodly prices, and some of the unfriendly staff. Other than that, i think the store is well stocked, clean and organized, and have a lot of choices to choose from, thats a plus ‼😊

Quick grocery shopping stop for essentials. In and out in less than 15 to 20 minutes.

Super awesome. We were looking for someplace to eat other than fast food. Most restaurants close at 3 pm. We found the IGA plus and worth so thankful. The food from the deli was so good. Delicious Fried Chicken homemade mashed potatoes and gravy green beans potato salad dinner rolls so so delicious the staff was awesome.

This is a great small town grocery store. You may not find the lowest cost here on all things but it has a great selection for the small town that it's in and it has a fantastic meat selection. The fact that they have their own butcher here still keeps the cost of the meat down, much like an old style grocery store. Frankly I wish there were more small-town grocery stores like this left around the country.

I have been going to this grocery store on and off ever since I was a small child and it hasn't changed a lot over those years. They even still ask you if you want paper or plastic when you go to check out.

Tuscola is fortunate to have such a nice grocery store! Their meat and produce are some of the best in the area. They have a good selection of beer, wine and hard liquor. This store is always clean and never cluttered. It is easy to shop and you can pick up your groceries curbside. Checkouts are fast and the cashiers are always friendly.

I love our hometown IGA.
We shop the sales ads and their prices are very competitive especially compared to wally world. Never a long wait, great selection and knowledgeable staff. Best of all its not a long drive or a 10 min walk across the parking lot.

The staff has always been very friendly & helpful. They never look at you that they are dreading you coming in their aisle to check out when you have a extra full cart. I've had that experience at other grocery stores.

We like the fact that this store is employee owned. They may not have had everything I needed, but it was worth saving gas.

Shopping here frequently for the past 30 years, has usually been a preferred alternative to Savoy, or Champaign. In my opinion, the money spent on certain higher priced items here are offset by my time, and fuel saved. If what you're looking for, isn't within the large selection carried in all departments, they'll gladly order it for you. The wide selection of quality produce, aroma of fresh baked bread, and fried chicken, (with all the fixin's), from the deli, is just the beginning of every shopping experience. I would be amiss if I failed to mention the highest regard I have for the friendly, dedicated team of employees, that always make you feel like family.

Nice clean store. Friendly employees. Great looking meat department. I picked up some Ribeyes and a Chuck roast. I stopped in out of curiosity traveling home from viewing the Eclipse.

Nice big store... I'm a poor man and always look for good deals... Their 10 for $10 I dearly love especially their meat... Great place to shop and save money

This store is great. Good produce section, great deli, & they carry basic grocery supplies. If staff sees you lookin for anything, they always ask if you need assistance, and they always say "Hi". I haven't met an unkind staff person there...EVER! And, c'mon, they can't carry EVERYTHING! The people who say its overpriced, or that they dont have "what they came for", should not even bother to complain...they should keep their yap shut, and just go somewhere else...dummies! They go there lookin for something they already know they don't carry...no reason for any rating below 4!

Very nice people. Local businesses are important to the community and this is a great example. I have been there three or four times and every time has been great visit.

Excellent service and if there is an item you need that isn't currently stocked or in their store inventory, you can go to the service desk to see if the item is available from the supplier.
They always do their best and provide excellent customer service!
