Probably one of the best retail shopping experiences I have had. I definitely spent more money and time here than ordering online. But the level of care and investment by staff was second to none, and worth the cost. Plan to spend an hour. You may have a wait for them to finish with someone else. But then the attention is on you and get gait analysis, foot analysis and are able to try on and run in a half dozen shoes. My salesperson, and I assume a manager, were both involved. Awesome experience.

I received terrific help and support from Autumn while looking at alternative max cushion neutral walking shoes. I’m very pleased with my purchase and the advice she gave me about the shoes and ways to earn more rewards and take advantage of a custom insole sale.

Great running store! I dropped in during my visit to Chicago. Marlisha gave me the full works, videoed my gait on a treadmill, scanned my foot, molded a set of custom insoles and guided me through an array of stability shoes. She was brilliant!

Earlier this year I got orthotics for flat feet and my pain has almost gone away when I go for long walks or run on my treadmill. But they’re expensive and take a long time to get multiple pairs.

I’ve heard of Road Runner Sports for a while so I decided to give them a try.

MARLISHA was very helpful throughout the process. I purchased both the blue Custom Support Insole for sports & the Custom Insole Max Cushion for daily wear. My wife also got the Max Cushions insoles for her self.

While they don’t provide 100% the feel and support as my prescription orthotics they’re are very close to around 85-90% there. This is definitely a more affordable option to be able to have custom insoles in multiple pairs of shoes and not having to move one pair into other shoes whenever you go from your running shoes to your casual or dress shoes.

Definitely recommend getting a pair or two. If you’re buying more than two pairs like myself I’d recommend getting the VIP membership to get their savings.

I have trouble with different issues but Autumn was so supportive and so very patient with me. I have never had anyone take the time she did to make sure I bought what I needed and wanted. She has the patience of a saint and the knowledge of what is needed. Thank you so very much Autumn!

Tried out Roadrunner Sports in Wilmette. I needed a new set of running shoes. I had a list of some models of Brooks and Hoka brands. They took a short video of me walking on their treadmill to see if I'm still pronating, and need a more stable model shoe for running and walking. I also opted for the inserts that they offer and can quick mold them to your feet in the store. Working out ok for now. A couple weeks after I got the shoes I did notice that I was feeling pinch where I have spurs in my heels. It seems to have subsided and I don't feel it anymore. Hoping it was my feet adjusting to the inserts. I wore orthotics in the late 80s, early 90s. But haven't needed them for a long time.

I’m a fast walker and hiker. I’ve had great fitting experiences at road runner and this week again. I feel confident when leaving the store. I also am comfortable exchanging if the shoe and my walk don’t match.
