Eden Deli & Grocery

Driving by and noticed the upgrade on the corner store. Looks good. Really nice paint job. Brand new sign. Glad to see such improvements in the city. Everything counts. Half the people care. The other half don't. Now to see how many other stores are keeping up. Shout out to Eden Deli and Grocery. And Good luck!

Great sandwiches!! I have been trying to eat a whole one at one time but I can only half. It is a great store. I have shopped at Eden deli and I have been pleased with the prices.

Owner/ Cashier/ Cook are very respectful. I don't even know them and gave alot of discounts to me. I was over a dollar short and said bring tomorrow!

The hoagies here are so fresh. I moved up here from south Philly and finally found a place that I can get a good sandwich from!

The traditional Philly term for a Latinx owned corner shop is Papi Store. In New York, it's Bodega. One of the main differences between these terms aside from location and the fact that Philly does everything better anyways, is the store's resident cat! Because NYC is overrun with rats, the Bodegas usually have a house cat that helps keep the rodents away. Not so much in Philly Papi Stores though. I tell you this to say, this place, this corner shop in the middle of Kensington, has a cat, making it an authentic, NYC Bodega.
That said, if you've been to one Bodega, you've been to them all.

The Italian hoagies are to die for! Everyone is so nice. Food here made with love.

Friendly, good food, good prices. This is the only local place I'll go to for hoagies.
