This place is a hidden gem with a wonderful wine selection. We have made a trip there from Decatur and the owner helps us select a wine purchase by providing samples. You can also purchase a flight of wine, a glass or bottles from Illinois wineries.

They also carry Mississippi Pottery!! I love both mugs that I use for my homemade lattes.

Much much more including cheeses, gifts and snacks.

Awesome selection of everything from kitchen and home, food and spirits (even eggs, cheese and meat!), clothing and collectibles. Full bar with great import beer selection. Plenty of thoughtful gifts to make someone's special day even more so. Charming little town just off I55 not far from Springfield. There are a few other shops all close by and a bar that serves food but closes for a few hours between lunch and dinner (I believe it's like 230-430 they close). Definitely a place to spend a day!

Casual "general store" for Route 66 memorabilia hunters. Atmosphere is relaxing, choose items from ice cream, hot dog or glass of wine. Outside seating in the shade. Must be seen to be appreciated. Friendly staff always makes you feel Elkhart welcome.

This is the greatest find! So many products to choose, all from Illinois producers. Also a beer/wine bar and ice cream selections. Farm fresh eggs. Many refrigerated and frozen items, as well. Not just food items but candles, items for the home, kitchen, and your cats!

Absolutely love to go to Elkhart station. My definite go to place when I am up in Illinois visiting. Some good wines and great Illinois products. I stock up and have family and friends bring to Florida if they are driving. Great place! Love it !

This is a unique business. They carry Craft Beers from Obed & Isaacs, ice cream, Slushy drinks, and on Sunday afternoons they feature a Bloody Mary bar. They have a wide variety of craftsmen-made products (too many to go into here). Don't come just once as you will see things you overlooked before and they offer new products each week.

So many cute things at this shop! Route 66 items, candy, lotions, soap, candles, wine and so much more. We stopped for a beer and picked up a few things to take home!

If you haven't had a chance to explore this general store, you need to put it on the list. Or if you are traveling the Rt 66 experience this is a have to stop. Has a little bit of everything for everyone. The Elkhart Station will not disappoint!
