I love this place, whenever I feel that I have to find my holistic or plant-based items this is the first place that I go to. The service is excellent, the work is always greeting you with a smile, and the products are great products and it's not items or things that are questionable such as the longevity of how long that item has been on the shelf, or even if it's good and it's natural state.

I live 90 minutes from this store but it is definitely worth the drive. The store is clean, well organized, staff is always friendly and helpful and the selection is unbelievable! They have a ton of vegan products and the bulk food selection is one of the best I have ever seen.

I love that they have a huge selection of vegan products! They are always getting new, tasty products in that I haven’t seen before too. Definitely a great spot to shop if you are looking for a wide variety of vegan groceries.

Very nice store! all of the good healthy products great vegetarian and vegan options. Lots of good kombucha flavors. Plenty of gluten-free options also. Been shopping here for years, It's great and because of its smaller size makes it nice to get your items quickly and easily.

Just called to ask questions and was treated very well. Shopped there years ago and are just as nice now as they were then.

We LOVE this place. Very fair prices, great selection, especially for those with special diets (vegan, gluten free, etc). And the staff is above and beyond. They will make you feel like family and are extremely helpful.

NHC became my go-to location for all my organic food sources. I had no prior experience with organics and how to distinguish good vs not-so-good. What really won me over were the employees and their altogether genuineness with respect to interacting with any customer, big or small. I ended up purchasing the buyer’s club membership and over my almost 3 years of being a member, I’d accrued over $2000 in savings from all of my purchases. Safe to say it was well worth every cent. There’s a lighthearted and peaceful ambience about the store that I especially love, contrasting with the small fish in a large ocean type of feeling you’d otherwise expect from big box stores. Altogether, NHC is one of my cherished and unexpected memories. A reminder of what southwest Michigan can truly produce in truly great people. The personalities and brief but always enjoyable conversations made the shopping experience as good as I’ve personally ever had in ANY store, be it there in Michigan or here in Los Angeles now that I moved back. Great bunch that deserve all good fortune in the universe!

1. Take Covid seriously and work to keep staff and customers safe through mask enforcement, sanitizing, curb side pick up. 2. Staff helpful and welcoming. 3. Good selection of products. If they don't have, they will order for you. 4. Buyer's Club deals, monthly coupons, and other specials help with the high(er) cost of quality food. All good reasons to keep coming back. Would recommend to anyone interested in clean food, vegan, vegetarian; and interested in supporting local business.

I heart this store so much - it's a real resource for the community. Fantastic source of vegan products of all kinds, and the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. NHC is also a fantastic resource for the Kalamazoo community, sponsoring many events, classes, etc.

If you join their buyer's club the prices drop a lot and you get some really good deals!

Great selection, buyers club is an awesome deal, love the bulk goods and bar soaps(they even have a shampoo/conditioner bar), cute jewelry.
