Nice atmosphere and prices are affordable. I recommend the breakfast bowl, it totally changes my perception on veggies in breakfast. Coffee tastes the way that it should and was fresh as can be. Free postcards to your loved ones is a plus!

Magpie Coffeeshop always has a tasty treat that I must have. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie is Peanut Butter Mousse on a Graham Cracker Crust topped with Dark Chocolate Ganache with a swirl of Buttercream and Candied Peanuts. This pie is luscious and one of my favorites. The Biscuits are square-shaped and truly delicious. We love to spread homemade Pimento Cheese on them. We appreciate that you are offered jam when you order Biscuits to go. The staff are nice and get your order ready quickly.

Magpie Coffeeshop is very convenient to the Gordon Hotel. It has great food at surprisingly decent prices served up in an airy, spacious interior. We ordered takeout so we could eat a quick breakfast before hitting the road. We devoured the food before I could take a photo. The egg biscuit is huge! I opted for the breakfast bowl, which includes braised greens, potatoes, and poached eggs (it’s worth adding the bacon). Coffee is great. I wish I could have stayed to write a postcard. We’ll definitely be back.

I feel like lots of coffee places get over hyped but this deserves every star and is my new local favorite. Drinks are tasty, pricing fine, pastries and food options both delicious with a lot of variety. I can't wait to try the hand pies next visit. Lots of seating room, even some healthy to go fruits and salads. And a super cool place to write on post card they will send out, or play board games and other activities. My biggest problem is that I have lived here for a while and no one told me about this place.

Alison was a huge help when I was ordering coffee. I have no idea about coffee and I am over whelmed when thinking about all the different types. I told Alison a few key points that I liked and asked her to surprise me with a creation. She asked me a few more questions to pin point what I liked which as she was super personable. What she had created for me is out of this world delicious !! 10 Stars

Very modern and chique. The workers were very proactive and helpful. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for food, a cafe to work or a place to meet people for coffee

Cute little place, in area. That's a little more privatized for meetings if you need it. And the customer service was excellent period the person who took my order was very kind.

My Chi latte was delicious. And they use premium teas for their tea.

I was in town visiting a friend and we’d heard Magpie was opening, but didn’t know when. We were in the area today, walked by to check it out, and we happened to hit their soft opening. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We grabbed three pies: the French Silk, Strawberry Rhubarb, and the Salty Honey. I’ve only tried the French Silk so far because it was so rich. It was a little denser than I was expecting, but absolutely delicious. We took our pies home, but there was indoor and outdoor seating available. Overall a great experience!

I loved the breakfast bowl with roasted potatoes, carrots, kale and a poached egg. The savory hand pie was flakey and delicious. Staff was friendly and food and coffee was served very fast despite being fairly busy.

I've always been a huge fan of their coffees and pies- this time I branched out and got a seasonal tea latté and one of their selection of cute ciders. Experience continues to be 10/10!

Super delicious, affordable, and in a great location!

We ate at magpie several times while staying at the inn at 5th. The coffee is good (the seasonal peppermint mocha was very good) and the avocado toast with ricotta was delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff were friendly.

Love this place! Maybe the only shop in town that understands the difference between coldbrew and iced.

My husband is the coffee drinker so I had modest expectations of the food choices I might have in a coffee shop a step away from the Gordon Hotel in Eugene as I usually do not find much selection of breakfast items at small coffee shops when we are traveling.
I ordered a bowl, which even though they had a steady flow of customers on a Monday, the hostess offered to substitute a more generously cooked egg when I asked if the normally included "country eggs" were soft.
This is a small coffee shop with really nice selection of small and moderate sized portions served quickly. Given that, it's the best tasting breakfast I have ever had at such a venue. I really wish we had a Magpie Coffeeshop near us!
We will stop again when traveling through Eugene!
