The UPS Store

I seldom write reviews, let alone for a UPS store! However, I must write about my experience here, as the level of service was utmost above and beyond. The manager, Jackie Reese, helped me with fingerprinting services and a package that I had to mail. I have never experienced a UPS store so accommodating and efficient. There was a constant influx of people and no wait at all (this was a week day late afternoon)! All of the service specialists worked through each customer at speeds I have never seen before -- if only I lived closer, I would come to this store all the time!

Beatrice and Rita are the reason for my rating! Both are outstanding employees, and were extremely helpful!
For this reason I will make it my business to visit this particular UPS Store!

I have been going to the Cranford UPS Store for years. I know James (the owner) and most of the staff. They have always been extremely competent and helpful, but recently they went above and beyond in providing excellent customer service. I had received a package which was unexpectedly sent in a heavy wooden crate. It would have been very cumbersome to load the crate into my car, take it home, unpack it, and break the crate down to throw it away. I asked James if he could help me open the crate so I could unpack the item inside, and then I would find a container to discard the crate before I got home. Not only did James open the crate for me, but he also graciously offered to discard the crate for me. Thank you James and all of your staff for providing years of excellent customer service. I highly recommend that you try the Cranford UPS Store for any of the many services they provide.

I was in this store 2 weeks ago when a woman came with a "service dog".
She wrote on her review that she was treated rudely. That is not what I witnessed as she was the one that was loud and making a scene.
The staff asked her to wait by the doorway because they have a staff worker that is highly allergic to fur and has asthma attacks when exposed.
They immediately took care of her and NEVER even raised their voices.
Another lie that she told is that she was left out in the rain. That is far from the truth as the area is covered with an overhang and she never got wet.
I have been coming to this store for a long time and never had a negative experience and that is why I was compelled to write this.

The UPS staff have always been so helpful - right from using their Notary services to products return policies. We have always been helped in the right direction. And most importantly, always welcoming!

I had 3 packages to mail to a family member, and we decided to use UPS not the US Post Office. It is very important that the packages arrive safely. I was fortunate to be helped by BEATRICE, as I had a lot of questions. She was extremely friendly, helpful, patient and professional. She made me feel at ease and explained everything to me. I was fortunate that she helped me. I will be a returning customer. Thank you Beatrice. You made my day.

So I stopped in the UPS store today at almost 2pm for the dreaded after Xmas returns. As soon as I opened the door I seen the usual line to the door (when truly I expected it to be down the sidewalk). Nothing different than usual until I quickly noticed the line was moving at rapid speed. I was shocked! I was literally in and out in under 2 minutes and almost half of that time was spent with me praising the staff for such shocking speed. I can not say enough how well this 3 person team worked so amazing together. If I had to build my own team I would certainly want these 3 employees who were working today. They were amazing! This was the most pleasant and fastest UPS store experience I ever had, and the fact it was during the holiday rush was even more amazing. BRAVO to this fantastic team!

Beatrice is awesome always kind and takes care of my packages. Packed up cookies and not one was broken all the way to Mississippi! The store today was smelling good + peaceful music playing. Pleasant to do business here.

The UPS on South Avenue is the best! When I go in there, I usually have a myriad of packages that are going to different destinations with different travel requirements. Jackie and Beatrice are so nice, and so agreeable, and they graciously sort out what I need to accomplish. You can tell they like their job and they like people. Shipped two Christmas gifts to my grandchildren in two different states, very fragile items and both were received in pristine condition. People at this store packed the items with great care and I will and have used these guys a while, thank you UPS store of Cranford

Employee#189158 was very professional, kind and patient in helping me process my unemployment ID. She gave good advice and was very supportive in the process.

I don't often write reviews but feel strongly about sharing the positive experiences I've had at this UPS location. Jackie, and all of her colleagues, are just exceptional! In addition to always being friendly and knowledgeable, they have twice gone WAY (way!) above and beyond in helping me with my shipping and printing needs, and didn't even bat an eye about it. I feel lucky to live close to such a wonderful UPS and am so grateful for the kindness and incredible work ethic of the professionals there!

Beatrice helped me packed my documents in a very professional manner. She is indeed a smart and considerate employee. I hope that she stays in this location for a long period.

There are women here that they are so nice, at least one of them 😅 my preferred UPS store.

I'm a regular customer at the Cranford location. It's super convenient and the customer reps and managers are amazing in this location. I've been to others and there's always an inexperienced person in the store who's not happy to be there. Not this one! Bea, Lorenzo and Jackie are terrific. They take time with the customers, are always smiling and friendly and quickly get everyone in and out. I've loved coming here to see this fun team. They are hardworking and probably don't get as many breaks as people think. It's hard work! Please give them extra holiday smiles and thank them for always being professional and kind. Happy Holidays to Bea, Lorenzo and Jackie! The dream team for Cranford :)!

This is my go to UPS store. I don’t go anywhere else. The service here is unmatched. Beatrice is wonderful. She knew what I needed and her recommendations saved me money on shipping. I enjoy this store above the others in my area.

I stopped by the South Ave, Cranford UPS store to do returns. They needed to be split into two instead of one due to packaging size. BEATRICE was amazing in helping me fill out the new forms, navigate the returns online, and was so professional, kind, and helpful. Wow!! I give BEATRICE and the store high praise and many thanks!!

I'm not in the habit of leaving reviews, so, take that for what it's worth.

Occasion had it that I needed some things signed by a notary; made a call to see if this store could help out. That call put on the phone with Lorenzo, who couldn't have been a better representative for the store. Calm tone, pleasant demeanor, knowledgeable and considerate enough to ask probative questions which would only serve to make sure that my follow up visit served all my immediate needs.

Follow up visit to the store only served to affirm Lorenzo's character and ability to serve as the face of the store. It's rare that I walk away from a business thinking that I'd return because of someone working there; I'd come back just because of Lorenzo.

That's not to say the overall experience was negative in any way...just an effort to recognize someone who deserves to be acknowledged.

Best staff ever! Jackie, Beatrice, Lorenzo, etc. Top notch!

I stopped in a couple times this week and had a good experience. A lady named Jackie helped me notarize some things, and she was pleasant in the midst of a tough town. Senior management was not on site during my visit, but the group worked like a team, backed each other up, cleared the queue really well. I went in today again, and watched the same performance from the ground team at this store. When I first arrived today, there was only a manager on one cash register and the line was backed up. A staff member arrived back from a lunch break and within a couple minutes had advanced us all and cleared the pike of customers to a healthy pace. Five stars to an impressive group of unicorns over there.
