Great people, outstanding selection of local beers and regular staples!

Driving to Burlington to pick up beer is always such a hassle. However, Beer King is 10 minutes away from and has just as good of a selection as City Market in Burlington. The owner of this establishment is also extremely friendly! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check this place out for all your local Vermont beer or anything else you need for around the house.

Stopped on my way through to Rutland. The lady inside was very nice and helpful in finding me what I was looking for. Great selection of local beers!

Great place to purchase snacks, alcohol, and other things needed for a successful get together with friends or family. They offer the best selection of drinks from soft drinks, beer, wine, and anything in between. This is my new go to place🍺🍷🍸

Beer King, from the very name, sounds like a good place to shop for beer.
My beer connoisseur friend from out-of-town and I were not disappointed. The store is easy to find; parking is easily accessible; the person working when we visited was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable; and the store had a good selection of local beer in stock.

I can't vouch for prices, as beer is a rare treat for me. I'll ask the Beer Connoisseur and update my review.

Great, quick place to grab beer, wine, snacks, lottery tickets, and household items. Owner is pleasant and will take the time to talk with you. Bottle redemption out back gives 6 cents for returns. The guy who takes care of the redemptions is super quick.

Great service! I felt awful for showing up with a ton of bottles to return at the end of the day but I called a few days in advance for the hours and was told a later time so I thought I was showing up early and it was actually at the last minute. My apologies but I'm so thankful and Happy that they returned my bottles for me!!!!! Thank you!!!

Great local beer selection, picked up all my favorites!And some new ones too. Some were a little pricey but worth it. Nice people working there willing to help find what you're looking for.

Unequivocally, the best place in Vermont to buy beer, oops auto correct I mean to say...no Vermont was accurate. The staff is always friendly and helpful, also the selection of craft beer is phenomenal. Being able to explore the different types of Foam that Roger has in stock makes for a successful trip every time. Especially given that it’s the only spot in Rutland you can get it. If you know of the Beer King, then you know the best place to get beer in Rutland.

Hands down best in town. One of the best craft beer selections in whole state. They will also work to get others if they can. Highly recommend as long as you don’t buy all the good stuff😉

Friendly staff makes you want to come back again and again, they have good prices on one of the biggest selections of beer and wine in town! And don't forget that you can return your bottles and cans at the same time you are restocking ur beer cooler!

Bottle redemption is good but cigs are expensive! Newport reds are the same price as Newport menthol.. that's not right! 11 dollars not right!! $8.70 at Granger Street Market!

They always have what you need

Was visiting the area and wanted to pick up some local beer. Not a huge selection since it is a small place, but the selection was very good!

Reasonable prices nice and clean and full of all products and lady on counter was so nice and friendly.
