We hired Bride & Joy for every service that they had to offer. This included Design & Styling, Event Styling & Coordination, Florals, Bartending, Decor & Table Setting and Calligraphy. Jes was absolutely unbelievable and made our wedding everything that we had imagined. She communicated with our vendors and made sure everyone was on schedule. She decorated the venue beautifully!! Everyone loved the bartenders Oscar & Mini. They were so amazing and did a wonderful job with our signature cocktails! We cannot thank Jes enough for everything that she did for us. Our wedding day was perfect because of her. Every single person at the wedding mentioned how beautiful our venue was decorated. We are so lucky to have found her business and would recommend all of her services to everyone that is getting married!!!

Loved working with Jes for our October wedding. We used Bride and Joy for rentals with a lot of our statement pieces (cigar bar, lounge, welcome sign, seating chart, cake display, etc.). From our first meeting talking music, to us meeting in the barn the night before while you were in the zone, I just felt like I have known you for years Jess! You listened while I talked through my vision, gave me pointers, ideas, thoughts and made me feel so comfortable!!! "She was my ROCK throughout the wedding process..." - is what I tell everyone about Jes from Bride and Joy! Being an international bride was already a challenge due to the distance - plus having to reschedule the wedding then dealing with restrictions and just all things that come with being a bride - it was a lot to say the least but Jes did not shy away from any of the things! She truly made me feel as if any issue could be fixed easily and there would always be a solution - nothing was impossible and THAT is what you want to feel as a bride. I knew that by having Jes be my coordinator, the day was going to be perfect and she was prepared for anything. Even before the big day she was always willing to have a call or allowed me to text her when I was really feeling the wedding stress/had questions. Jes is the sweetest, most kind, fun loving and understanding human who I was so lucky to have had apart of my wedding team - even now I want to plan something else just so we can work together again. We did rentals as well through Bride and Joy which were so high quality - all my guests were impressed. Many of my guests commented too on how incredible Jes's team were on the day! I don’t even know how to accurately reflect in words how thankful I am that I found Jes and her team for our wedding coordination. Aside from having the best personality, she’s so easy to work with and advocates for you as a bride. She is available to answer and question you have and does it with pleasure and she is your constant hype woman. I’ve already recommended her to another friend who is getting married and will now have her for her wedding too. Our day went down PERFECTLY with Jes taking care of every detail of the schedule and all of the vendors so seamlessly. I was able to take everything in and just enjoy because I knew Jes and her assistant Mel had it all under control. I would have another wedding with my husband just to work with Jes again 😂 (kidding, but she’s just the best)

If you need a wedding planner, you've found the perfect team! Jes was AMAZING throughout our whole wedding planning process. Then on our day of, Jes and her assistant made it so our day was absolutely perfect. There was absolutely no stress and being a DIY bride, Jes made sure my vision came to life! She was right by my side whenever I needed her even before I knew I needed something! I definitely would not have survived my wedding day without Jes and truly can't thank her enough for her hard work throughout the whole process!

I have nothing but glowing things to say about Bride and Joy, and Joy herself. From the experience we had with mock table setups and all of the time Joy spent with us making choices, to her patience as our ideas changed, it was so much fun and such a smart and affordable way to make a wedding both unique and beautiful. Joy and her team were so much fun to work with. They were there right from the start of the planning process and made it so much easier. They did it all, from designing the table layouts and signs to recommending vendors to setting up and breaking down. We've got so much love for Bride and Joy, and we definitely recommend them.

I feel so lucky to have found Bride and Joy! Jes was very friendly, prompt in her communication, and came highly recommended to me. She was incredibly gracious and helpful in guiding me around the shop, pointing out specific items that might fit the style I was looking for. I was blown away by how many different things there were to choose from! Five star service all around, and I will absolutely be returning in the future for other events!!

I cannot recommend Bride and Joy enough for anyone planning a wedding around the Culpeper area! We hired Bride and Joy for decor/rentals and table and chair set up/take down for our October 2022 wedding. Jes was truly amazing to work with and is so dedicated to what she does. She made the entire rental process so simple and was always there if I had any questions about anything. I was definitely a nervous bride and she really helped calm my nerves about so many things. Everything was set up perfectly for our ceremony and reception and we received so many compliments about how great our venue was decorated. Using Bride and Joy was truly one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding!

Jes is so impressive in everything I’ve seen her do and the way she treats her clients. She is kind and honest, and patient with people like me that are indecisive as hell about anything and everything. She was so sweet to surprise me with some things on my wedding day that I had mentioned I liked but had decided wasn’t in the budget, that is something I will never forget and will always appreciate! I hired Bride & Joy for Decor Setting, Calligraphy, Florals, and Bar. Every single service went above and beyond my expectations. seriously a total package of perfect that made my wedding turn out to be everything I could have wanted it to be - beautiful, elegant, and fun :)

Jes is an incredible human being and has a gift for what she does. We met with her in the showroom to look at all of our ideas and it was like meeting an old friend! We gave her a mix of ideas and she understood our vision perfectly. We came up with exactly what we wanted our tables to look like on the spot! Our wedding day turned out perfectly and we received so many compliments about every detail, including the calligraphy table numbers. Everything was such a great experience, our day was a dream, and we highly recommend Bride and Joy!

I cannot say enough positive things about this team! The decor and rentals were perfect, the flowers were stunning, the bartenders were super friendly, the calligraphy sign was gorgeous. The spicy margarita I asked for ended up being the best I’ve ever had! They even went above and beyond and took the time to cook the jalapeños overnight and make their own simple syrup. The communication and creativity from this team is superior. They exceeded our expectations!

I truly can not thank Jes and her team at Bride and Joy Events more for their extreme care, attention to detail, support, and expertise on our wedding day. We hired Jes for day of coordinating, rented some day of decor, and added her day of decoration set up and she went above and beyond all expectations. Every time I spoke or met with her she calmed my stress levels, made me feel like a sane bride, and supported me in every decision. If I we did it all over, I would hire her again and again! Our wedding day was PERFECT and the success is most definitely due to Jes and Julie.

Jess and her team were very easy to work with for me and my team of drivers. My drivers spoke very highly of her very being very responsive and very transparent with them leaving no gray areas. They spoke highly also of the event it self mentioning it seemed everyone on the buses had a great time at the wedding. I would absolutely recommend her if you are trying to have a very organized and smooth wedding day!

My husband and I received so many compliments on how beautiful our decor + tables looked, and that credit only goes to Bride + Joy! The quality of the rentals couldn't be beat, and Jes is hands down one of the most fantastic humans I met. I had a terrible coordinator + florist experience, and Jes helped me navigate it beautifully, going far and above what she needed to do! They have rentals for every wedding aesthetic that a couple could dream of, and helped us stun our guests. Jes - you have clients FOR LIFE!

We had a fabulous experience with Bride and Joy among the Pandemic they were wonderful with postponement options and accommodating last minute requests. We could not recommend them more for their hard work and gorgeous Arbor!

The day of our wedding, Jes and her assistant, Lynsey, were absolute godsends. They had everything ready for us and had a timeline with events scheduled almost to the minute, which we loved. They both worked hard to make sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. Jes was able to work seamlessly with our other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. All of the rentals that we used from her shop were high quality and in great condition. The Fletcher loveseat we rented was very comfortable and had nice back support, which was great for all of the standing and dancing we did! We really enjoyed working with Jes and the Bride and Joy team.

I used rentals from Bride and Joy for my wedding, and they really brought my wedding up to the next level! Everything was so beautiful and much more affordable to rent than to buy! I also used their calligraphy service to write my seating chart on giant mirrors at my reception, and they were so unique and elegant! To top it all off, Jes was so amazing to work with! She is so warm, calm, and professional all at once, and when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19, Jes was flexible and supportive. She really made it as stress-free as possible to reschedule my wedding and make it look exactly how I had envisioned.
