Tropicana Supermarket

Extensively merchandised, including many products and brands that I haven’t seen in other stores. The produce and meat departments are exceptional, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I have found no equal in the area when it comes to the variety and quality of items in their meat department, and with very reasonable prices.

Every time I shop at this store the shelves are so neat and organized. The meat department is always well stocked with fresh cuts. The checkout process is always quick.

I wanted to change my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. This store is family owned and operated. They are so kind and helpful and they treat everyone with respect. You can find all of your grocery needs here including fresh bread and cheese! The smell alone will make you slow down your cart and appreciate the beauty in the store. Not to mention the awesome sales on produce!

Visited for the first time today! as soon as I walked in I was greeted by the cashier. store was very clean, and I was able to find the exact meat I was looking for, for a great price. thank goodness I found this hidden gem!

Cleanliness, shopping made easy, fresh produce and Great meats. A lady shopping paradise. When a lady gets her husband and family 👪 meals at a supermarket that is clean, very appealing, and she's comfortable with the prices, it makes her the queen 👸 of dinner.

I buy my groceries here once a week and sometimes stop in during the week for a random necessity. Not only is the store very neat, clean, and well-stocked, but also the employees are friendly. The prices are surprisingly low; it feels like going back to before pandemic-era inflation!

They typically keep 5-6 registers open so you can check out in about 1-3 minutes depending on the size of your order- good luck having that experience at Food Lion! I guarantee you will have a better experience shopping here than there.

This store just opened yesterday. They have a wide variety of products, both Latin imports and domestic mainstays, plenty of fresh produce and seasonings, and a good variety of fresh meats. The owner seems like a nice guy too! Highly recommended, our neighborhood needs a good supermarket like this.

One of the place I buy products not available in "regular" grocery stores here in Roxboro, NC. It's worth the 45 minute drive for the meat selection and fresh cheeses in the deli. Many items sold here aren't even available in Person County, unless it's in a tienda resembling voodoo shop that you order a month in advance.

To say that this store is one of the best things that has happened to the community is an understatement. Tropicana is clean, organized, and has some of the best prices, produce, fresh meats, and groceries in Durham. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and is open to any recommendations from customers. HIGHLY recommend.

This is a great store, all employees are very friendly, the cleanest grocery store I've ever visited, I've never seen anything out of place and I just want to say Thank you to the management!!!! The first time I visited this establishment I met 1 of the managers and he personally put some water I was purchasing in a cart, well unfortunately he injured his leg and still comes to work on crutches and greeting his customers, 👋🏾Praying Tropicana continues to strive for great customer service and keeping the store in excellent condition.

My wife & I are so happy with this new supermarket in our neighborhood. The produce is incredibly fresh with a nice varied selection. The prices are very reasonable and the store is sparkling clean! This will be our new go-to supermarket for all of our grocery shopping needs.

I visited this super market today while visiting family here in NC. I was blown away by the cleanliness of this establishment along with the quality/vast array of their products. On my way out I ran into one of the owners. It turns out they just opened up and I was ecstatic to hear this is a family owned business. If I lived here this would be my go to super market!

Clean store. Good prices and very nice driver to your home if you spend $50 or more in-store. Definitely will go back to shop with them. 😊

Very clean and a great variety of tropical and Latin foods spices and meats. Reasonable price and overall great staff. They were very helpful and greeted everyone with a smile.

Best kept secret. Went here right before the ice storm when all the other grocery stores were ransacked and this grocery store had short lines, beautiful produce, beautiful meat section, all that you could want and more in a clean, well lit space.
