A really awesome local game shop for many of your trading card (boxes, packs, and singles), board games, and d&d (role play and miniature paint) needs.

Their trading card games included Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, Yugioh, and One Piece as far as I saw. They have an entire wall and a few additional shelves of board games as well as their different, as well as card games, and shelves for role play games like war hammer and Dungeons and Dragons!

I’m trying to get more into the hobbies for all of these sorts of games and Dream Wizards felt like a great place to start! The staff there was very nice and willing to answer a lot of my questions so I thankfully did not feel as scared as I normally would have, and the selections there gave me so many items to choose from!

Looking forward to going back there again to either pick up another board game or One Piece box! 😎

I’ve come here to play the One Piece TCG many times during their Friday tournaments and it’s always a blast!! All of the workers are really nice and welcoming (especially Amy!! She’s the best). They also have a good selection of Pokémon cards in binders and boxes that you can dig through and good ones in the cases as well. I hope they expand to have One Piece singles or bulk in the future too, but the game is still pretty new so it’s understandable why they don’t at the moment~

Definitely will be coming back!

The atmosphere is awesome and I can't wait to go back for more flesh and blood events here. The store had a lot of stuff I was looking for and great deals were made. I highly recommend coming here!

Plenty of table space, a lot of weekly events. A real cool place to be for card games and tabletop games. Probably best wh40k stock in the area

This shop was lovely - great selection and helpful & friendly staff. I came in for MTG and they had some older booster packs that I hadn't even seen before. Pricing was good/fair too. Would recommend to a friend!

Staff is friendly and warns you when you're about to accidentally buy a dry paint instead of a layer.

By far the best game store in the DC area! 10/10 staff was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Selection was unbelievable. By far the best Warhammer selection I’ve ever found. I drive 2.5 hours just to shop and enjoy the community this store has cultivated. Incredible D&D selection and can they legally be called a game store with out Magic lol check them out you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been a few times and they’ve been incredibly warm and friendly every time! Super helpful when looking for the cards I wanted and suggesting upcoming events.

I bought two champions path etbs, paldea evolved booster box, celebi alt art, shadowless charmander, couple of packs and top loaders. Workers are amazing! 10/10 definitely going again

I went to pick up a preorder and the staff member entertained my 2 year old daughter with stickers while they searched for my item. She had so much fun with the stickers that I even got a browse for a little bit!

Went here for Pokemon cards with my partner and the shelves were so neat, very clean store. There was a good selection of a variety of hobbies and games. The store owner (or staff member) was helpful. I'd come back again.

I'm sure each store has their good and bad days. Doug today made my day and hooked up 40k army box for me. I've seen before they have major discount on army boxes and sure enough the army u wanted to build was on that table. Thanks Doug!!

I am a regular customer at Dream Wizards and I will say that the Store Manager is extremely helpful and knows his stuff. There are some other employees who specials in the CCG's and are also a great resource. In regards to inventory, I have had both easy and challenging experiences but it is usually based off of distributer shortages (at least in regards to miniatures). However, I can always call them up and place a special order or a hold on an item without a complaint and they will even check the shelves.
I have been in the store and seen customers come in and ask for things that just didnt make any sense and they could not provide a description that would allow someone to help them and the staff still tried to help.
They could use a bit of clearing out (anime) and dusting on the things that dont sell, but hey, if your not buying it why do you care?

My favorite card shop! Love the people!

Tucked away in strip mall on a steep incline, worth seeking out. All kinds of card games and on several nights a week they host game nights. My teenage son always wanted to learn how to play Dungeons and Dragons. For a $5 table fee, he was able to join a Level 1 game and had the best time. Very happy to find a place that he can socialize in a safe environment.
