CVS

This CVS always seems to be well stocked, sufficiency staffed. The pharmacy does close at lunch so be aware of that- but other than that, no issues at all. The store is clean and team members are nice. 💪

Good Customer service is when an employee walks your wife to her Car when a crazy tweeker is outside and screaming and making everyone feel akward. Who ever did that today, thanks for looking out for my wife. I hope you get a promotion and all the shifts you want. Employee of the year status

I had some photos made and customer service was very good. Kind people who are doing their best to get everyone out the door as soon as possible. Shoutout to Richard for the help.

Dr. Allen Lee is the pharmacist or healthcare provider I've ever encountered. He exceeds my expectations beyond comprehension whenever he assists me with medications. CVS needs to hire clones of him. Other pharmacists and technicians I've encountered refuse to lift a key stroke for you. Thank you Dr. Allen Lee.

Pros: Marina was perhaps the nicest drugstore cashier I have encountered in YEARS. Pharmacist at drive-thru was also nicer than typical. Very clean store and better stocked than most. 24-hr location near the Traffic Circle.

Con: Lines - inside and drive-thru can be long; this is a busy 24-location (pharmacy and store!) Try to hit the store at off-peak times!

Edit 8/20/23: I wishI still pick up ALL my meds here. Had to switch due to insurance; but still come here for two meds not covered. This CVS is where PharmDs are willing to take the extra time to look for savings. I feel like they advocate for their patients & for me - Imelda, PharmD most especially. Overall, I’ve had a good experience here & observed this location has progressed and gotten better over the years.
Goes for the front/store staff as well. They like to keep things organized just by looking at the shelves. & they don’t tolerate disruptive behavior from people who hang out in the front. Makes you feel safe as a customer.

This is my go-to pharmacy. I love having a 24 hour pharmacy nearby and the lead Pharmacist is always so helpful and informative. All the techs have been helpful too whenever there is an issue with my prescriptions, which is rare here.

Allen in pharmacy is absolutely one of the most knowledgeable, kind, and helpful pharmacist I’ve ever encountered. I had a sick toddler and he was so helpful and informative. He recovered quickly and felt better instantly because of Allen’s knowledge in medicine and recommendations. I can tell he cares about helping give people, but most importantly to give them a good experience. I really hope he gets the recognition he deserves. I’m so thankful for employees like this. They are rare to come across.

I was purchasing medication for my young son, and Arely from the pharmacy was so helpful. She really went above and beyond to help us and it is super appreciated. Employees with empathy and patience like her are gems and should be recognized. Bravo to her!

With one recent bad experiemce 99% of my interactions at this CVS are pleasant. I didn't want a previous review to be posted, as it wouldn't be a fair reflection of the store for 1 bad experience.

Super awesome customer service at the Long Beach CVS today ! All three of the girls that were working today were working very hard and stopping what they were doing right away to help the customers. That’s my new CVS location now.

Always friendly and helpful. This has been my go to in store pharmacy for years even when there are a few closer to me now. I mostly get delivery since I moved.

I really like this cvs! They are very efficient in sending out reminders to let me know about a prescription that needs to be picked up. The staff is really helpful. Sometimes, they're kind of monotone in the way they help, but if you are kind to them they smile and lighten up a bit. Very helpful and informative on their prescriptions so that is really good. I don't really shop inside, just go through the drive through to pick up stuff because I have two kids. And I am always helped within 5 minutes or less while waiting at the window so that is great service to me.

Homeless guy stole my phone and left it on the counter here. Was able to get via find my phone. CVS employees were wonderful.

Now many phamacy close early. However, this one opens even late night. My son came from the hospital around 9:00 pm after his surgery. Many of them close before 9:00 pm. He seriously needed pain reliever, etc.
I strongly think the doctor and hospital have to take care of their patients about prescriptions' medicine. They should give the information to patient and patient's family the Drug Stores that open 24 hours near the hospital.

I was really rescued by this pharmacy from my anxieties because I could guess my son's pain.

The pharmacist, Allan was so kind and a outgoing person. His small talk made me be relax because I worried about my son.
I really appreciate him very much.

It locates not so faraway from my house but I visited that area first time and I had already visited several phamacies then I had to drive detour because of accident.

When I came back my house, it was around 0:00. Until that time, my son had to be patient of his pain.

What a wonderful experience with the pharmacy. Not feeling very well obviously having to fill a prescription, insurance only covering a small portion of the cost. The pharmacist (Linah) helped me obtain a coupon online from the manufacturer greatly discounting the value of the medication. I don't think I did but I want to thank you so very much for your help on my way to recovery. Thank You.....

I took my daughter to urgent care at 630pm the doctor there sent prescriptions to my CVS here. I left directly from urgent care to CVS because my daughter was quite I'll and needed the MEDICINE. When I got there I saw the drive thru closed then went inside and indeed they had closed not at 8pm or 9pm they closed at 6pm. I was frantic. I searched for other CVS pharmacies some claiming 24hr service indeed were not honoring that but I CONTINUED down the list of 24hr CVS . First ring, good evening this is CVS pharmacy my name is Imelda(THE DOCTOR OF PHARMACOLOGY HERSELF) how can I help you this evening? Cheerful bright and happy. I told her what happened and she tried to retrieve my daughter's prescription and had said I'm sorry there is no way until the store the doctor sent the request to, hang on bear with me for one second I'm going to see here I'm looking at this and I have a way your daughter has an open refill for this exact medication the exact dosage and for exactly the same reason. I can fill it for you but you will pay cash because I have no way to stop the insurance from paying for it on the other end but you can come back tomorrow and I will give you your money back and the documents you need . We can then have you take the paperwork to your CVS and will give you your money back as soon as they open tomorrow morning at 8am. Imelda has personality plus she is funny comedian type funny. What an awesome badge of SHARP as a tack and knows her business. She was very organized and had my medication filled within 15 minutes of my calling and then driving miles away, I pulled through the drive thru as she directed me to do so and she was super welcoming and had very good suggestions to help ease my daughter's pain also about the importance of rest vitamins hand washing and lots of fluids to flush the bacteria and medication out of the body. I drove away from her after thanking her and telling her and I hope she gets to see this I'll say it again DR. IMELDA IN MY EYES YOU ARE AWESOME YOU ARE A ROCK STAR AND MY HERO! CVS...This is why I have been a loyal customer since you became CVS and prior to that Savon drug store, your staff your employees are the cream of the crop and I've never been so wowed as I am still today over DR. Always open! Always there when I need them
