Just stopped in for the first time the other day and was really impressed! Not only with the selection, but with the service too - Rob helped me find a new pair of Nikes that were exactly what I was looking for! He was super friendly and helpful, I highly recommend him and DE Running Co if you want to shop locally and get some great advice on new running shoes.

Best place to go for any foot issues. I have planters fasciitis. They had a great choices of sneakers for my big foot! I hate sneakers! I love being bare foot. The sneakers I bought are light and wonderful! Love them!

My feet hurt, a lot. I went to Delaware Running Co (even though I do not run). A member of their staff greeted me, we had a conversation about my feet, they watched my feet as I walked a few steps, they measured my feet, and had me try on three pairs of sneakers. We landed on a pair of Brooks-I would have never picked this out for myself. They had wide width sneakers IN STOCK. Very reasonable prices, amazing service. My feet and I walked out happy. I will be back and I will recommend to anyone who will listen.

Just had my daughter sized for running/cross training shoes. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The selection in style, size, and foot support was vast. Also we were able to get better support for ankle compression accessories as well. Overall a plesant experience and cost effective shoe store that I highly recommend.

Great store with knowledgeable staff always willing to help! I went in looking for a new pair of running shoes and was provided 4 options. We quickly worked to narrow it down to 2 and finally the Brooks Levitate GTS. I've been a long time customer of DRC and enjoy the personal attention received. A lost art in the "big box" stores!

The customer service here is outstanding. Each employee is well versed on the products they offer. I have bought dozens of shoes over the years for my runners and never been disappointed. One time they even ran a different size pair of shoes out to a cross country race my son was in because I quickly ran in and bought the wrong size shoe for him when he wasn't with me (always have the kid with you). Outstanding!

Delaware Running Company is definitely my first choice for buying running shoes and gear! Their staff is knowledgeable in terms of what runners need, they listen when you tell them what you want, but they also ask the right questions that lead to ultimately getting the shoes and gear you need. This year is my daugthers first time of running cross country for high school. Her most recent pair of Hoka shoes were worn out and I decided she needed a new pair. So, today I took my daughter to the Delaware Running Co to get her a new pair and I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY from the level of service I received by Rob. Honestly, my first thought was do I really need to take her to a running store, and I am so thrilled that I decided to do so.

When we first arrived Rob greeted us immediately and asked us a few questions about what we were looking for. He then proceeded to ask if my daughter was ever "fitted" for shoes. At first I thought he was joking but that was not to be the case. Rob then went through a very cool process to check out not only the correct size/width, but also how she walked so he could make sure to recommend the best shoes possible.

Rob brought out a number of different model shoes and told my daughter she not only could try them on, but even stop outside to run a little on the sidewalk....are you kidding me!!! How cool is that. Anyway, we will never get her running shoes elsewhere and I can only hope that if you visit this store, you are fortunate to have Rob help you.

I can't give enough praise to this wonderful running store. From the occasional jogger to the experienced triathlete, this is the place to go for shoes and other running gear. The staff is determined to make sure you walk (or run) out of the store with the perfect shoes and apparel and commit their time with you to ensure this. Highly recommend!

This store is outstanding. Andi was absolutely the most knowledgeable and helpful person I have had ever. She made sure she gave many options and did not make us feel rushed. My sister and I came together with very different feet and she just really knows her stuff. She does not pressure you at all. I recommend her to everyone. My feet never felt this good. I hope the company knows how awesome she is.

I have been buying running shoes from here for years. The service here is great. Lots of options. Friendly staff who are very helpful in directing you to the proper shoe selection and fit. Sure, you can buy last years shoe model online to save a buck, but what are you going to do when the independent, small specialty stores go out of business? Where will you go for such expert service? Support small businesses!

Love this local store. The sales associates are really nice and they know their stuff. Every time I'm looking to upgrade my running shoe - I 've been helped with excellence. They'll let you test run the shoe. I expressed my concern for the shoe I tried on, and they made sure I didn't settle by getting the perfect fit.

Clean with a nice selection. Loved the student discounts and the return/exchange policy if you don't love your purchase.

Incredible customer service. They helped me pick the best pair of shoes after trying over 5 different pairs. They also shipped shoes to my current location outside of Delaware and they arrived within two days! They have a generous student discount as well. Well run store that I will always return to for my next pair of shoes.

I've been going to running stores for over 20 years in multiple states and this one tops the list. Extremely knowledgeable staff that was able to translate my previous shoe experiences and my current running goals into a pair of shoes that has worked perfectly. They didn't have my size (I have big feet) in the model that I wanted to try, but added it to an order and called me when it came in a week later. To add even more to the personalized service, they surprised me with a phone call the day before my race to wish me luck. I've been buying online for the most part to get my size, but now I will be returning to this store before looking anywhere else for my various running needs.
