Tom's Food Markets

Good selection here, including their own bakery. Parking lot is in good shape and large sized, store is clean, employees were busy stocking and cleaning, overall a good grocery store.

Not gonna lie, prices are high for items not found on sale, but this is a tourist area and in the middle of summer when I visited.

I'm not sure I've ever been so impressed with a grocery store in a town the size of Interlochen as I've been with Tom's! The store is well laid out, everything is clean and neat and the employees are helpful and funny. Their selection is vast and varied and the prices at Tom's are pretty good as well.

With Tom's being so close to the world famous Interlochen Center for the Arts, they stock a wide variety of items from all around the globe that you normally wouldn't find in a store their size, all to make the international students at the Center for the Arts feel more at home! That is brilliant and shows real community spirit I believe.

All in all, the next time you're passing through Interlochen or staying to see a show at the Center for the Arts, which I highly recommend, you really should stop in at Tom's and take a wander up and down their isles, you too will be impressed...

Clean, fresh produce and meats, and nice souvenir section with cherry products, for us out-of-staters. An annual stop while studying summers at Interlochen Center for the Arts!

It’s a great grocery store for Interlochen! Has a lot of options which is great because the closest big retail store like Meijer is about a 20 minute drive away. Staff are always very helpful! Plenty of parking and easy access from the road.

Clean and organized. Very friendly staff. Makes for a nice shopping experience. They have excellent produce and bakery products. Prices are comparable to others.

Love this store. So clean, bright. Great selection. And they still ask you if you prefer paper or plastic! Wish there were more of these down state in the mid thumb area of Michigan!

I shop at many grocery stores thru the year. I mostly come to your store. Did you know that I have looked and can only find Campbell’s Cream of Asparagus soup at your store? Now, if you could get Stouffer‘s Welsh Rarebit that would be perfect!

Not to mention their fresh in-store bakery has yummy muffin varieties you don't come across in a big box store!!

This is a very well-managed store.

Great store, friendly staff as always. This is only useful during COVID, but all staff members wear masks, and properly, no faceshields. They have enough people on that there aren't any lines, even with good business. Very clean environment (can see employees keeping up and being diligent), very confidence inspiring. Nice sized market. We found everything we were looking for. Good selection of fresh fruit and produce. Very friendly and accommodating staff, even though we arrived close to their closing time and actually kept them a few minutes late. Overall, a very good shopping experience.

Love my local market! We are in often enough that we know a lot of the staff by name, and they know us too. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and we have had lots of great conversations over the years. My daughter was born in January and they love watching her grow a little more each time we come in. Several of the staff have grown from acquaintances into friends. We love our Interlochen Tom's Market!

Staff always friendly. My favorite place to shop. I drive 17 miles just to shop there. Love the deli and produce is fresh. Not extremely packed like so many other grocery stores

My best friend I had just gotten out of the hospital. And all she wanted was a watermelon! First time since she's been out since she had a big chunk of metal removed from her leg. There were no watermelon. I asked the man who worked it Tom's and asked him sir am I just not seeing the watermelons? He said hold on let me look came back much to his surprise they were all gone. He said hold on a minute, he went in the back and lo and behold there was one watermelon!! He made my day and My Best Friend's Day. Kind, caring , and very helpful. I forgot to get the man's name but thank you sir! You know who You are! Thank you.
