BlueBridge Events Centre

The decision to choose BlueBridge as our wedding venue was pretty simple. We knew we wanted to be married up north and as close to our dating anniversary as possible which meant we would need to have our wedding indoors during early November. BlueBridge is the singular venue in the Grand Traverse area (and beyond) that completely embraces the up-north feel without being cliche, overly "rustic" ski-lodgy. Polly was immediately receptive to our calls and we reserved our date without ever seeing the space indoors until a couple weeks before our actual wedding. The photos are what ultimately last and everything we could see online was more than compelling enough for us. The planning process was seamless and Polly, Kassidy, Stephanie, Chris and Ray walked us through so many aspects we would have been otherwise clueless about. This review would be an unreadable length if I were to list these points, just know that nothing is too small or too big of an ask when you have this team behind you.

The space was decorated beautifully, I wish I had better words to describe it. I never worried anything would look bad or tacky but when I came out of the bridal suite and saw the table settings, that was probably the closest I came to crying all day. It felt like an autumnal wonderland and I felt so confident and proud for the night we were about to have. If you do your events with BlueBridge, do not pass up the opportunity to work with Stephanie for all your floral designs.

As for coordinating the wedding day, Polly stayed true to her promises that us, our wedding parties and parents wouldn't have to think of a thing and that she would handle everything. She sensed when to move on to the next event and kept the party flowing without a single hiccup to the entertainment. Miraculously, the team even managed to take a photobooth picture when I barely made it in there lol. I treasure every single memento!!

The event space was the perfect backdrop for a timeless, romantic night which is exactly what we wanted and exactly what we got. I couldn't even tell you how many people told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to. The bonfire was a huge hit for our friends that would rather chat, and also a great reprieve for anyone needing to cool off from the dance floor. Even though it was chilly outside, I could tell everyone was comfortable. Any kids in attendance had a blast too, not a single bored face to be found. They loved the swing, hot chocolate and s'mores at the bonfire; some parents even told us they regretted not bringing their kid afterall, saying they would have had a ton of fun.

I hope we get ourselves invited to a BlueBridge wedding one day, it's just a perfect space anyway you look at it. Polly and every member of the team are amazingly warm and make you feel like you're the only couple they're guiding / that matters. Not sure how they do it but we'll be grateful for our entire lives for helping us throw the best party we'll ever have.

We could never say it enough but thank you so, so much to the entire BlueBridge team for the "wedding of the century" as my grandma put it lol.

The BlueBridge processes were very easy and simple to follow. We did not have issues understanding what was the next step.

Having dedicated employees for each position was really nice as well. We felt like we were working with a strong team with the coordinators, owners, florist, tech guy, handyman/landscape guy, and DJ.

Everyone made every detail that we wanted possible. The amount of meetings were not overwhelming. There were some things that we feel we pre-planned ourselves but if we didnt, BlueBridge team would have filled in the gaps. The questionnaires that BlueBridge provided were very useful and easy to use to define the finer details.

Alyssa was our coordinator and it truly felt like we were working with a friend and she kept us calm with everything going on. She helped us create the wedding day schedule, tend to our wants, lots of behind the scene work, and making sure any detail isn't missed.

Something to note…The florist and DJ are integrated into the BlueBridge team. Their DJ has to be used but you can choose another florist if desired.

A great team to work with and a beautiful venue location for a perfect wedding. Having the team made us much more confident everything would go perfect! Highly recommend!

We got married on 11/11/23 at Blue Bridge Event Center and I could not recommend this venue enough!! The staff team at Blue Bridge went above and beyond for us, and were so extremely professional. Everyone made us feel extremely welcomed from the start and had incredible communication!! I am so blown away from the teams professionalism and how BEAUTIFUL this venue is. They helped out with my wedding planning so much, and took off so much stress! The day of my wedding they were on top of absolutely everything and made our day seamless!

I cannot recommend BlueBridge Events enough!! Surrounded by natural beauty, it provided the most picturesque backdrop for our ceremony and reception. The lush greenery, breath taking pines, and sunset by the lake created a romantic atmosphere that left us in awe.
The staff at this venue is simply outstanding. From the very beginning, they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day unforgettable. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our celebration was flawless, and their dedication truly made us feel special.

I've photographed at BlueBridge 3x now and each time I am welcomed with warmth, care, and great hospitality! Not only that, but they have an amazing venue, beautiful florals, great DJs, and coordinators who are on top of it all :) The space is such a great fit for people who want to get married outdoors, but have a rain plan too! And the woods across the street is iconic Northern Michigan. The couples that get married here always get what they pay for: a relaxed, calm, and beautiful wedding day :)

We had our wedding reception at BlueBridge in May 2019 and it was a dream! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the BlueBridge team ensured that we had a wonderful experience! BlueBridge offers several in-house services which takes a lot of stress out of planning. Chris and Stephanie are the owners and they are both such warm, friendly people. Stephanie did our flowers and they were so stunning! BlueBridge also comes with a day-of-coordinator for weddings and Polly was BEYOND amazing. She was so sweet, supportive, and helpful! She made sure everything went smoothly and that we had nothing to worry about on our day. There are SO many unique details that BlueBridge offers that really sets it apart from other venues. It's also right by Ellis Lake so we were able to take a short golf cart ride to the lake to get incredible sunset photos! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue, friendlier staff, or a more perfect wedding day. Thank you BlueBridge!

We were married at Bluebridge on August 18th and we are so happy we chose them for our semi-destination wedding. We had our ceremony & reception in the Blue Center.

There are 2 great things about BB: 1) The amazing setting & grounds. It was the perfect size for our smaller wedding and was beautiful inside & out. 2.) The Staff! Everyone was so great to work with, whole team effort. Stephanie provided in-house floral services to us plus some extra decor we requested. My bouquet & the florals looked so good as did the rest of the decor. AMANDA, our assigned coordinator was the best to work with before and on the day of. Not only helpful to me but all my bridesmaids and family!

Everyone at BlueBridge really loves the business & what they do, it really shows with the time & energy they put in to each bride & groom/family. We have received so many compliments continuously from family & friends on our special day there! We couldn't of made a better choice.

As Mother of the Bride I had the most beautiful experience for me and my daughter with Polly !! She is the most kindest and best coordinator anyone could have !! Her 35 years experience walked us through everything! Now the venue was commented by all of our guests as the most beautiful venue they have seen! Pics don’t do this place justice. We have never been soooo happy to have e picked the venue ! And my son on law found this hidden gem!!!! We had sooo much fun and so many areas for people to mingle !! Thank you Polly you are a treasure and a friend forever!!!

We got married in late May of 2023 and everything was amazing. Polly and her day of coordinators made sure the time line was followed as close as possible. I highly recommend this venue because everyone loved it was an all in one venue and the natural beauty. You were not contained to a ballroom with a dance floor. Guests were able to be in doors at their tables, dancing, roaming the garden and we added on the bonfire with smores.

My husband and I were married at BlueBridge on May 19 and we could not have picked a more perfect venue to host the best day of our lives! We received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful everything was and how great the service was! I cannot imagine planning without Chris, Stephanie and Polly; they made all of our visions come to life and truly went above and beyond in all areas. We utilized BlueBridge for virtually everything; rehearsal dinner, getting ready, ceremony, reception, bar/alcohol, took their recommendations for catering with Grandview (which was phenomenal!), our DJ, (Scot kept the party alive the whole night), and Stephanie created the most beautiful flowers arrangements for the entire thing! I cannot give enough praise to Polly who walked me through the planning process and was there with me throughout the day. She took all the details and stress away from me and calmly ran our wedding day on schedule without a hitch! There is not a single negative that I have about this venue. We were treated like family and were blessed to have these wonderful people with us to start our marriage! We have already recommended BlueBridge to others (even though we secretly want this fairytale venue all to ourselves, lol!) and will continue to do so! Cheers to you BlueBridge! Blue Bridge is a dream! From the second we toured it to the day of our wedding Polly, Chris and Stephanie went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT! Polly made everything go so smoothly, Stephanie’s flowers were stunning, Ryan our DJ was AMAZING and the garden was so magical. We rented the wood side tent for our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding and then after I (the bride) stayed the night in their guest suite. It was so nice being onsite for everything and the guest suite turned out to be the perfect hang out spot for my daughter and groomsmen. Our wedding was on a hot humid day but the shade provided a significantly cooler feel! Even though you are in the woods, no bugs! BEST DAY EVER!

We fell in love with this venue from our first visit with Chris and Stephanie. Aesthetically, it is the most beautiful representation of Northern Michigan in a cozy, whimsical, woodsy setting. I could go on and on about how incredibly lovely the place is, but you really should just look at photos and walk through it yourself. More importantly, it is run by the most thoughtful and supportive staff; they want nothing more than to make your wedding the most meaningful day of your lives. Chris and Stephanie are so down to earth and literally could not be easier to work with. They, with the addition of their wonderful planners and staff, think of every detail and make the process seamless while also being truly enjoyable. We were planning from a couple hours away, and that seemed daunting at first, but this group of people alleviated our stresses at every decision in the process. They are clear and communicative; their system is well thought out and mindful of all the things you may not be aware of while planning.

I cannot emphasize enough how much our guests enjoyed themselves on the wedding day. The set up of the venue allows for people to converse in the beautiful garden, cozy up by the fire, or have a blast on the dance floor. I think all the different spaces made people feel comfortable at all times, not like they were required to stand around or watch people dance. And there is no area of the venue that isn’t gorgeous.

Lastly, I want to speak to Stephanie’s floral design and decor skills. This part of the planning process is something I was really interested in from the beginning and I had tons of ideas. Stephanie patiently went back and forth with me in person and via email for a few months. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away by what she was able to accomplish. Her arrangements were the most perfect amalgamation of colors, sizes, and textures. The florals and decor unified our palette/theme and enhanced the beauty of the venue.

At the end of the day, their prices are incredibly reasonable for what they offer. And I think that speaks to Chris and Stephanie’s character and vision; they are the best people in this business. I can’t cover every aspect of the place without rambling on and on more than I already have, but I urge you to go visit and fall in love with it yourself.

Beautiful place. Great design & ambience. Wonderful place for a wedding or party. Pleasant & attentive staff. Only knock was food was subpar. The 5 star rating is because I was notified all catering is done by outside vendors.

We booked Blue Bridge (Bridge Side) for our wedding in May 2023. There aren’t enough words to explain how amazing the entire process of wedding planning was. On our initial tour of the venue 10 months prior, we felt embraced and taken care of. Every single one of the staff members that we encountered were beyond fabulous, attentive, and helpful. Each member made sure our wedding day was more than we could have ever imagined.

Our guests LOVED the venue. The grounds were well taken care of and had so many added touches that made it light up and look beautiful. The chapel was perfect to get married in.

Our planning process went incredibly smoothly. They are a well oiled team and thought about every detail! It was easy to book, plan, and coordinate our day because of everyone that helped.

The wedding day was fabulous, perfect, and amazing. The crew were eager to work and make our dreams come true. The DJ had the dance floor going, the bartenders had the drinks flowing, and the managers and planners made sure the day went without a hitch.

The only thing we were sad about was that the night went by way too fast! We wished we had more days to celebrate with the BlueBridge Team!

If I could book every event with them, we would again and again.

Our wedding here at Blue Bridge was a dream come true! The staff, decor, amenities and overall ambiance created an exceptional experience for us and our guests! We looked at 4 other venues before we decided to see what Traverse City had to offer. This was the first getaway city my husband and I traveled to when we first started dating so we thought it might be fun to get married in Traverse City! From the moment we walked in for our tour, both my husband and I had an overwhelming feeling that this is where we were meant to get married! Polly welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like family. We are so grateful to have had Polly as our wedding coordinator as she always was excited to check in, touch base on updates, and just see how we were feeling with the wedding planning process! The greatest piece of advice that Polly reminded us over the almost 2 years of planning our wedding was " The most important piece of your wedding is that you are marrying the love of your life, all the other pieces will come together no matter what happens it will be beautiful" This piece of advice kept us calm and in the moment especially after having to change our plans what seemed like weekly with our wedding happening during the pandemic. One thing stayed consistent and that was all the love and support from the staff at Blue Bridge to help us through these unprecedented times. Chris and Stephanie (the owners) are so involved in helping to plan the big day which sets this venue apart from many others we visited. It is so evident that they are truly passionate about the work that they do! Chris was very helpful with planning the beverages for the bar and was there on site until the end of the night to make sure everything went smoothly. Stephanie has such an eye for detail and design! The venue itself is breathtaking, so minimal extra decor is needed, having a florist on site creates a smooth process for adding in the extra decor for centerpieces and bouquets! Out of the different venues on the property, we chose The Bridge as we loved the indoor/outdoor feel with the modern rustic ambiance. The backgrounds for all our pictures were breathtaking, especially the pictures in the woods with the tall trees! We also loved having a getting ready locations on site along with the Suite for spending the night of the wedding. This venue truly is a one stop shop which made it perfect for us having an out of town wedding! We chose to have our wedding on a Friday to allow for us to have a whole weekend with our guests traveling from out to town and one perk to having a Friday wedding was that we were able to come on Thursday to decorate and have everything ready to go! We can't wait to come back to visit as we have such a special connection now :)

BlueBridge is Best-in-Class. Gorgeous venue, was perfect for our big day. But what truly makes BlueBridge so special is their staff. They treat you like family, from the minute you schedule a tour, whether you decide to work with them for your big day or not. Polly, Chris, Stephanie, Maxwell, the whole crew is phenomenal. They brought our day to life, made sure every T was crossed and i was dotted. The entire process was clearly laid out, transparent, and so so organized. A group of pro's pros. Can't recommend enough, look forward to going back hopefully to celebrate someone else's big day!

What didn't BlueBridge do?! The staff at the venue is absolutely phenomenal. Our wedding was originally supposed to be on April 25, 2020 but due to the global pandemic, we had to move it to August 8, 2020. BlueBridge worked with us every step of the way to make sure that our day was just as special as we pictured it for April -- even with a new executive order limiting the number of people INSIDE coming out a WEEK before our wedding.

Our reception was moved outside to the garden area and it was even more beautiful than my husband and I could ever imagine. Chris, Stephanie, Polly and the rest of the BlueBridge staff were so attentive and worked to make it special. They even had all hands on deck to set up the tables outside DURING the ceremony due to it raining right up until the ceremony -- LITERALLY.

Our special day went off without a hitch and I would HIGHLY recommend BlueBridge to my friends.
