Was a great campground! Nice open clean sites with fire pits. River access from several different spots. One of which has a nice deck to enjoying a relaxing afternoon.

We came in Saturday night and stayed until Monday. We had the whole campground to ourselves Sunday-Monday. Clean water access near by as well.

Clean pit vault bathrooms for the most part. Very nice rustic feeling. The only thing I'd say, is If the campground was heavily trafficked.. neighbors would be very close by at most sites.

Overall, beautiful and my girlfriend and I certainly enjoyed ourselves! Recommend this awesome campground to others as well!

Great Place! 25 Rustic Sites. 3 different types of sites. From tents, Hammocks, and 5th wheels. This place is built for all of them. Situated right on the Manistee River. Open sites to Secluded ones. Well maintained also.

This was a great quiet place to camp, hike and fish.
Swimming not so much.
The DNR does a great job taking care of the property especially the bathrooms.

I wish there were showers 🤣

Quiet rustic campground, good for tents or smaller trailers. Very nice views and good fishing. Good location off of paved road.
