Friendly and responsive staff. Unlike the big box grocery stores popping up in Bethesda, shopping at Safeway is easy. You can navigate efficiently to find what you need. There is plenty of parking without huge underground parking lots with elevators. The only suggestion: In addition to large grocery carts please have some small carts too.

I love the prices here. Bethesda is not a cheap place to live, and I find the quality and value here a bit better than other grocery stores within biking distance. The fruits and vegetables are great and the store has almost everything I could want for all the varieties of foods I cook.

Went in today to get some fresh veggies for the super bowl; the produce section looks amazing! Better than before, saw they had a new produce manager. She was so helpful, seems like shes the one responsible for the new makeover !

Good Safeway. Decent produce. Sometimes drama with unwanted visitors….

Excellent service from the pharmacy! Michelle was very helpful today when I really needed help! I went to 3 super rude CVS locations before calling Safeway on Sangamore! I'm never going to a CVS pharmacy again. Safeway will be my default from now on! Thank you so much for being kind to customers, especially on the phone!

I work at Georgetown Hospital as an Executive Assistant and I always have to get cakes and different things for events we have seriously last minute. I will drive an extra 10 minutes to go to this Safeway because I know they will accommodate me! They made a fresh sheet cake to feed 80 people with only 3 hours notice and it was perfect! The staff is friendly and helpful and pleasant.

I absolutely love this store. I get lunch here almost every day. The habanero mango roasted chicken is delicious. The pot pies are the best I've had.

I work downstairs from Safeway so I'm always here they often have really good sales going on. The people are all friendly too. Love my girl Crystal!! Definitely a good Safeway location.

The store is bright and clean. They have good variety at reasonable prices. The club card is well worth it. Staff are always friend helpful.

Clean never too busy and fully stocked. There isn't too many grocery options in this area but this store is excellent every time

Staff was very helpful when my NFC payment wasn't working. They need more terminals that accept apple pay, but again the staff is so wonderful when things don't work as expected.

I love the 6 dollar sandwich deals in safeway. My favorite is the Italian cold cut. I can't wait to go back there again this friday

Employees are always friendly, the store is clean and well organized, and the goods are always fresh. Plenty of parking on site.

This is a nice store to shop in. The staff, for the most part, are helpful and friendly, the store is well lite and with the exception of some milk products on Wednesday (when the ads appear) are available.
