Cute Harder to find plush!!! My Easter basket was mostly from here. Cloudina and her moth friend are loving their new home!

Copied below is an email I sent to Alphabet Soup the evening of Tuesday, 11/24/2020. It will provide you with my opinion of this toy store.

"Dear Alphabet Soup team,

I live in North Carolina, but have family in central NY, specifically the Syracuse, Buffalo and Ithaca areas.

One family member is a 3-year-old “nephew” (really a cousin twice removed, but you try explaining that to a little child) who lives in Ithaca. I always send gifts for birthdays and holidays, which can sometimes be a hassle living so far away.

This year his mom told me about Alphabet Soup and I visited your online store. Wonderful selection! She made some suggestions, I found others, and in the end five fantastic toys were chosen.

Your website is very easy to use and I couldn’t believe that gift wrapping was free and also offered the opportunity to have individual messages for each gift. I placed the order on Monday and his mom just texted me that all of my nephew's gifts were delivered on Tuesday and each was beautifully wrapped. She sent me a photo and I was blown away!

All of you at Alphabet Soup are absolutely awesome! Thanks to you my nephew will now have some fantastic fun Christmas gifts from his “Uncle” and you’ve taken a HUGE weight of holiday stress and pressure off of my shoulders.

Very friendly welcoming staff. Willing to help.
Not a super loud place

I love this store and have been bringing my children here since they were very small. The entire store is filled with carefully selected quality toys and games, and their book selection is excellent. I contacted the owner to help me choose a gift for my nephew. After offering great suggestions, I ordered the "custom box" with a note about my nephew's favorite things to play. The box arrived filled with beautifully-wrapped (for free!) hand selected gifts that he loved. Thank you, Alphabet Soup!

This shop has many stuffed animals. They regularly update the shop too!

This store is amazing; the books and toys are high quality --- not like some cheap stuff that will break immediately. But the real joy of shopping here is that the staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I've gone in there multiple times and described how old my nephew is and what he's currently interested in, and ended up with the perfect toy or book. They have never steered me wrong!

Excellent experience all around. The staff are cheerful, helpful and informed. They subtly lead you towards the right purchase without being pushy or giving a sales pitch. I was pleased with how endeared both employees were with the toys each customer bought and since I was there at a busy time for the holidays I heard equal care given to each customer. They have a lot of unique items available along with some standard high quality brands.

You can always find super cute plushies here! Even some you don't see anywhere else (pikachu sea slug my beloved). The staff are always kind 😊

After looking at their wide selection I asked the kind worker what toy she recommended for a baby to fidget with and she guided me to some of his now favorite toys. The staff was great and very informative!

I searched *everywhere* before Christmas to find this Jellycat Axolotl. I finally found a place that said they had it in stock, I personally had never heard of this store and that generally makes me wary online, but I threw all caution to the wind and placed the order. They even offered a Gift Wrapping Service! Heck Yeah!!!

Well...they delivered! And I totally forgot that I ordered it wrapped until I opened the box Christmas eve and saw that it was beautifully wrapped, with a hand written label, ribbons and everything!

Alphabet Soup in Ithica New York saved the day! I had literally been looking for weeks and I was getting to the point where I thought I just wasn't going to be able to get this Axolotl for my daughter in time for Christmas. Alphabet Soup you literally saved my Christmas, this was the one special gift I wanted to get for my daughter. My husband won't let my kiddo get a real axolotl so this stuffed one is the replacement.

Next time I need a toy or Jellycat, Alphabet Soup is the first place I will look!!

I'll be honest. I didn't buy anything. I don't have any kids, but this place delighted me to no end. It was really like stepping back into my own childhood. I was actually excited to see "smart" children's toys and some great books. My family and I were on vacation and just happened upon it. What a neat little place.

Charming old fashioned toy store. My kids love to enjoy all the fun toys out on display! They have regular turn over of items so it never gets old.

They have a fun selection of toys and the only place that carries Mrs. Grossman's stickers, where you can buy them by the piece, instead of a whole packet. I LOVE going in here!

We really like this shop, good selection of toys that they mostly don't sell in the box stores, lots of learning toys lots of old school stuff, good local shop with nice folks working there.

A good place for stuff for kids. They got toys and stuff like that. Books

I get so excited about going into this store as I always walk out having bought something cute that brings me and those around me joy

Fun shop for anyone who likes children's literature, games, puzzles and quality toys. I buy gifts there for the kids in my life.

It a nice place on the comments were you can get most everything and toys for all ages. I love it
