Grabbed some outfits for summer travel here. It was clean, well-organized and quiet and the checkout process was a snap. I found several items that fit great and there were many size options available as well as several sales racks to peruse (who doesn’t like a good sale rack?). Friendly, helpful staff. Definitely will return in the future. Great experience!

I have to say, the ladies working here today, were like angels, and extremely kind and patient with myself and my 4 year old with Autism. They went out of their way, imo, my son was over stimulated, and instantly upon walking in let go of my hand and began pulling folded clothes off the table and rolling around on the floor... I am a solo mom, with no help and they could absolutely sense that I am tired and overwhelmed. They got his attention on things so I could pay, they were all just very very kind. And helped with a return. I am very grateful to the Sunday ladies at the Gap in sea girt. Thank you so much from myself And my Edward.

Store was nicely setup. Nice quality products. Pleasant staff more than willing to help. Great sale going on. Having a store card gave me 50% off plus another 10% off. Great deal. I'd never been in the store in before, but i will be back again.

I don't appreciate being profiled at this GAP for potential theft while all of the other older moms were not profiled and watched like a hawk. I had to bring my baby in via carrier and was met with suspicion. In reality, I can not lift a stroller as I have a subcronic hemorrhage and am on doctor's orders to not lift over 15 pounds. I was also not dressed the best since I have been on bedrest for three months of my pregnancy wondering everyday if my baby will survive. Wonderful to be profiled after I finally had the courage to shop for my coming daughter at 16 weeks pregnant feeling optimistic. The sales woman assumed my son was a girl since I was shopping for baby girls clothes, they will be Irish twins. I didn't correct her and I know as someone who worked in retail before that this is their tactic to keep you from stealing. Trust me, with a father who made over 10 million dollars in 2023 I am NOT interested in stealing a $5 clearance GAP baby shirt. Way to judge a book by its cover. We will not be returning and will simply order online from now on. Terrible experience after a nightmare pregnancy I could not even enjoy shopping and had to constantly worry if I looked suspicious all after being in Community Hospital in and out if the er and doctors office for weeks.

I love the Gap but I would drive 20 miles out of the way to avoid this store. The staff is so incredibly rude. I get this is an upscale area but seriously people you're not that important - you're ordering a coat for my 8 month old off an iPod. Relax. It's the holiday season. I wish I thought to ask the cashier her name so I could call corporate, but that may have been too annoying for her to tell me. The way this girl was acting you'd think I interrupted her during labor instead of being the next person in line to ring up.

When asked by a partner store to look for an item that they might have in stock, the associate from the Seagirt location quickly said "we don't have it." Once off the phone, the associate who was helping me said "I don't think she actually looked. Why don't you swing by and look for yourself." So I did, and found 2 of the dresses I was looking for. The staff at this location seem to be short tempered, impatient and obviously lazy. Not impressed in the least.

I seriously cannot believe corporate Gap allows the women who work here (MOST of them who are over 30 and ‘careers’) to work here. Everyone in this Sea Girt center is usually so lovely to their customers, from the eateries to the more upscale places. Speaking of which, uhhh... Gap, since when are you jeggin— errrr I mean Lycra jeans $100-quality jeans? Nordies we are not — sorry Gap. And puh-lease — cater to expanding-USA all ya want, but I ain’t no size 0. Yes, ok, I admit it! It’s fun to come home and say: hey honey look what I found on the $9.99 clearance rack! Size 25 jeans that not only fit me, but contain such a huge percentage of Lycra/Spandex that by 5:00 pm they’ll probably be droopin! Exception maybe being those nasty girlfriend things.

Anywho, back to the point of my review. The employees. Wow. Who on God’s good earth do these women think they are? I can only think back to the 90s Adam Sandler SNL Gap Girl skit (I’m showing my age here heh). But way, way worse and in no way funny, unfortunately. I had such a heinous experience here a few months ago that I called the corporate number the moment I left the lot via Bluetooth in the car. I didn’t buy anything. Keep in mind, a kind, younger, millennial age woman had been helping me on the floor and she was so genuinely nice. They keep the REAL treats for the front. Corporate immediately emailed me a $20 code which I had every intention of using online. However, recently fate brought me into the plaza to pick up some Blue Mercury. I thought, why not? What were the chances that witch wasn’t canned by now? Surely, if nepotism wasn’t at play, complaint calls were made weekly and she’d have been given the axe! But lo, when I went to spend my $20 code on some clearance items totaling $20, she was the ringer-upper. I was the lucky winner. To make it worse, she didn’t ‘get’ the complex coupon code, and had to call an even meaner she-oaf from the rear to probably explain to her (the did the whole hide hush-hush thing) that it was the result of a mean encounter with the third kind. In other words, one of them. Again this time there was an embarrassed-for-them looking youngin’ standing by. She was a doll. I’m sure the non-career turnaround there is rapid. I took note of register #2’s blonde mistress. My age, cut from the same Sea Girt Gap Employee cloth. I guess we can rule out nepotism at this point. Gap — from a style-conscious, non-mean, mom about town, please consider (a) an employee Niceness Bootcamp and (b) rethinking that you’re not Madewell. You’re the Gap. You still put my jeans in the drawstring bags I put my gym clothes in when I was in 8th grade.
