General Store

I thought this store had the best selection of Winter Park/Colorado ball caps. We bought a real geode from here (well three of them actually) that you can break open and find quartz deposits inside! We bought most of our souveniers from here. Cool location to shop at as well.

The sore was really nice and clean it also had a lot for it being small. Everything was very cute. The lady running the cashier is also nice.

Very good gift shop, good selection and reasonable prices. Different merchandise than the other gift shops in the area. Lots of bacon items, gum, candy, band aids...

this store has so many unique items and I had fun shopping in here!

Great for tourist treasures.

Glad it wasn't just me that thought the owner of the store had an awful attitude. He got a little nicer when we paid, but definitely had a weird demeanor as if he either hated his life, or hated everyone who walked through the door. Very hard to understand why someone would torture themselves like that if they aren't a people person.

A lot of nice things there, however the other trading shop has the exact same things/more and they're actually professional.

The man and woman who own the store are extremely rude. The woman made my children and I feel very unwelcomed and uncomfortable. She was whispering to the old man standing next to her and he gave me the most awful glare. I actually had to hold back tears on my way back to the car.

I purchased $100+ worth of goods...ran the card. Then I remembered I had a coupon...they would not honor it. They said NO RETURNS. I wasn't returning...I just wanted it rung up again for me to purchase with my coupon.

Neat stuff in the store, but I will NEVER return. You lost a customer for life over $10...really smart business practice.

Oh, and the young female clerk with the hipster eye glasses, never asked if we needed help. She stayed in the back talking on her cell phone (personal call) until we were ready to check out.

I’m very displeased with the service I received at the general store, the woman behind the register named sally was rude and unhelpful at one point I asked her a question and she lacklusterly replied “figure it out”
Most of the people in this area are nice and helpful but sally is neither, if I ran the general store I’d find better employees so maybe you wouldn’t run costumers off

The male working the register obviously regrets many of his life choices and feels compelled to take out his frustration on young children whose parents might buy what they offer.

Take your business elsewhere.

People who own it are really rude. Been in twice and both times they were rude to customers.

I tried to return a sticker and the cashier said “ you need to learn how to spend your money” disappointing!
