This was such a wonderful experience! I went as a beginner hoping to get a little help navigating choosing out my first pole. I got so much more than that service and product wise! Erik is fantastic! He made me feel comfortable, understood where I was at in my fly fishing journey and gave a ton of helpful tips. I gave him my budget and he helped me get my kit to get going! He explained areas of the set up I should invest more in vs items that I could go a little cheaper on to get started. His service really was fantastic and he was such a joy to learn from! I would absolutely recommend his shop to anyone from the novice learner to an experienced angler. I’ll be going back soon to get some flies for my trip coming up.

Where do I start? Joe and Eric were absolutely amazing to work with. They were more than willing to work with my budget and wish list, and walked me through several different options and ultimately led me to the setup that was best for me. They also took time to explain several ideas and thought processes that I would have never considered when it came to my purchase.

Not just the best fly fishing experience I’ve ever had, but one of the best shopping experiences I’ve ever had. Eric has forgotten more about fly fishing than I will ever know. He stayed late to help me as a first timer and his passion for the art of fly fishing is very evident. He’s a wealth of knowledge and he gets me feeling like I’m going out to land a world record every time I leave his shop!

We love this shop! Eric is incredibly helpful and friendly. The shop itself is great! Set up perfectly with lots of options. He has everything you need. What can you say about a fly shop in Tucson Arizona? Some consider it odd, but I can guarantee that Eric and his team are incredible! Having been a casual angler for many years, the passion that Eric has for teaching and helping me learn has been profound. Additionally, his enthusiasm and knowledge have helped light the interest in flyfishing in my teenage son. Having an activity to do with him is an incredible thing as a father and parent. Eric will spend all the time it takes to get you set up. Whether you are looking at buying half a dozen flies to fish and northern Arizona Creek or whether you are planning an expedition to New Zealand or Alaska. I cannot recommend the shop highly enough.

I went to this fly shop because I was in town. The owner Eric made me feel right at home and expertly answered all my questions. What I liked best about the fly shop was that there were things there for every level of experience and budget. I found lots of things on sale and Eric even let my see some of the expensive reels I have only read about. I went in to get flies for a certain kind of trout I want to catch and Eric showed me what would work best. This fly shop has the three things I look for, expert help, friendly atmosphere, and things with in my budget Dry Creek has all of those and more!!

I cannot say enough about this place to fully explain how helpful, honest, and incredible this store have been to me. The owner has so much knowledge of the sport of fly fishing and it really shows via the quality of his shop. I have only visited 2 times now but I know I will continue to go back again. They carry a wide array of flies, rods, reels, and everything else you could ever need to get into the sport. (Their fly tying section is really exceptional as well) I am so lucky I live so close to Dry Creek given that they are such a helpful resource. If you have ever wanted to get into fly fishing, or you already have, check this place out! Just an amazing store and they truly deserve your business.

Eric is by far the friendliest and most knowledgeable fly fisherman I have ever met. He truly knows and loves his craft. He is happy to help you no matter what skill level you are at. I learned more in 1 hour from him than I have reading multiple books. The gear in the store is of the highest quality and the flies were priced well. Can't recommend this place enough!!

Absolutely best fly shop I've ever been to. Eric is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and hands down the nicest person you'll ever ask for advice he set up a great new box of flies for my day trip, helped me pick better tippet, and even gave casting and retrieve advice! I couldn't ask for a better shop if there was one!

Hoping "comfortable" is a compliment; this shop has a very big selection tucked into a small area, but it works very well. The place just makes you feel like you belong there.

Absolutely outstanding quality service, products, and knowledge provided by Eric. The fly selection variety and quality is superb. I just can't say enough good things about this shop and will continue to be a repeat customer. I have purchased wading boots, wading socks, gravel guards, fly rod and reel etc etc all competitively priced. Don't buy online, come in-person and you'll be a life-long customer too!

Eric is awesome. He treats you like your an old friend the first time you walk into his store. He was especially very helpful when I first started fly fishing and didn't make me feel intimidated or unwelcomed into the sport. Other shops I've been to act as if they don't have the time of day for your questions-not here. Shop local!

As others have suggested, Eric, the owner of the store, is very knowledgeable regarding his merchandise and fly fishing. In addition, Eric cares about his customers as people, and this is reflected by how he treats his customers. In my experience, this is difficult to find in the retail world.

Antarctica! Our cruise was set for February 2020 and we needed warm clothing for Antarctica. Not too impressed with what you would find locally we decided to try the Dry Creek Outfitter ORVIS store at River and Craycroft near the entrance of the Whole Foods Shopping Center by Walgreens. We met Eric the owner who couldn’t have been more helpful ordering and deciding what would be the best options for our trip. We fell in love with the Simm’s fishing brand that only Dry Creek Outfitters sells locally in Tucson. We quickly became friends with Eric, the local business owner who mostly specializes in fishing, but you can find something unique here for all kinds of things like skiing, hiking, outdoor sports, and Antarctica! Thank you Eric, our trip was *Fantastic* and thanks to you we had the BEST Gear!!

Eric is very knowledgable and not pushy. Budget extra time for fish stories and lots of tips. He's got a better selection of gear than the one non-Orvis fly shop in Manhattan.

The staff is widely knowledgeable on both salt and fresh water fly fishing. They are helpful, patient, and cheerful.
