Dollar General

Never have I ever seen such a clean Dollar General. As soon as I walked in, it smelled like clean laundry. As I walked through the store, I noticed that every aisle was organized. I stopped by to compliment the manager for her hard work. I am new to town and have been driving all the way to Target for small errands but now that I found this store I will be coming back :). I wish I could say the same thing for other dollar stores but that would require corporate to clone this wonderful manager. Definitely something to consider...as a bonus you would start getting the Target/Wal-Mart clientele to come by more often....I will be back!

So incredible. New store also sells produce and fruit. Set up so you can watch as purchased rung up and total. Tons of stuff. So far each time there everyone is smiling, helpful. The bar has been set high here!

Im always able to find the things I need, for a quick up. Great service, and friendly employees.

Always nice people

I've been shopping here for many years and I can pretty much find almost everything that Walmart has and that's a big HELL YA for me.

Seems to have different prices at register than marked on the product. Lack of help and leadership it seems so check prices carefully

The lady at the front didn't bother to greet me or wish me a nice day, unlike the other nice white folks in front of me. Disappointing. Friday 10:22 am. Wasn't particularly busy either.

This review may change over time given the store is still new. It's low now because of 2 things in particular. #1 Myself and my friend could barely enter the store Sunday morning because 3 of the staff were having some sort of meeting right inside of the front doors. None of them had the courtesy to move out of the way and we both had to squeeze around the 3 employees..less than 2 feet of space between us and unmasked #2 I'm awaiting a refund to my debit card and it's been 36.5 hours and the items were purchased and never left the register. I immediately returned them. Signed something too small to read and now, after the purchase had been "pending" all day, it's actually come out of my account. I tried to call this evening and there was no answer. I will attempt to call again tomorrow. If this is not resolved by Wednesday, I might simply resolve it the most logical way. Unfortunately, that would keep this review at a 1 star review!
All of that said, and this is another Dollar General, in a town with 3 other Dollar Generals. It's new. It has more grocery options but Zephyrhills should have gone all out and done a DG Marketplace....and because of that, and that despite being brand new, it already feels worn out, this review will never be higher than a 2 star review, anyway.

The manager Carol, clearly has no idea what her role is as being the manager. I have been in the new store 3times, everything the is on cashier 5 to 10 customers deep in line, she casually walks out takes a drink of her soda and goes back to the office, last time I asked here this is a brand new store and u make people wait in line. Then she has the audacity to say well they are supposed to call if they get 3 deep in line, seriously Carol you walked out and seen the line but yet you just drank your soda and went back in the office to sit. I personally will drive to Publix it will be faster and less infuriating! Carol you are not a leader and need to sharpen up on your leadership skills. Lol
