Bought a bunch of gas but for some reason my lights stayed on and my van wouldn't start.. I wanted help pushing it away from pump but one of the guys said I better tip him . So I started doing it myself . Thanks to the two guys who help me push it 40 feet and didn't demand a tip. Not a nice employee.

I'm giving this place a negative review. For years they do not let their customers use the bathroom. It makes no sense that their bathroom has not been working for over 5 years. They should put a sign where it's visible from the street saying that we do not have any bathrooms because usually when people stop at gas stations. I believe it's because of all the drug use in that area but it's not right to your customers. If I would have seen a sign I would not have spent $100 before I found out that they dont allow bathroom use. They have very small letters by the window practically hidden. Everyone should boycott this place. If you're hoping to gas up and use a bathroom do not go to this location

Spent $88 on fuel then told their bathroom was broken. Old white haired lady cashier' was a witch about it. Been here twice. First time was ok.

The fact that this is probably the only gas station I know of in California that doesn't allow bathroom use for paying customers, at least, is the wildest thought process for me.
Next, what happened to the days when the people behind the counter wouldn't be too lazy to switch one dollar for 4 quarters? Is that a done deal now? 🤔
Next, why do we keep rude and lazy employees but fire the rest? That doesn't make any sense to me. I can see a lot of reviews where the mean old lady was rude as hell or didn't want to help customers at all. And yet she's still there. For the people who have credit card charges from this fas station, you can get your fees back. All of them, lol. Under civil code 1748.1, it is prohibited for merchants to add a surcharge fee for the use of credit cards instead of cash.

Finally, if we really want to make a difference report them to the attorneys general for the racism, them making consumers pay at the pump instead of inside where the consumer wanted to pay at in the first place, for the surcharges to the credit cards all of it.

The more we don't do anything, the more they can get away with. Even visitors who have stopped at the gas station but don't live inside of Redding or shasta County can file a complaint with our attorney general. It's only a matter of time until the attorney general says enough is enough and enforces the law. The surcharges on the credit cards alone should be enough to get the attention of the attorney general because that is fraud and theft. Hope this was some good reading for someone

Stopped & got gas, while my husband was pumping went in to use restroom, & of course the rude old women said it's broken. I guess I must of made a face like I didn't believe her. Cuz I didn't. & she told me there was a gas station with bathroom up the road for paying customers. I told her we were getting gas right now. Then she angrly said , where you going? I said home., lol she says home could be Alaska. Very snotty. We were coming from Oregon. But what does that have to do with anything. By the other reviews this must be the same old gal.

I had to stop going to this Valero because the employees were so bad. one of them, who is much older than me, kept hitting on me and making gross jokes about me. I am 19 but could easily pass as being 16 or 17 without makeup & he had no way of knowing how old i am. i was super uncomfortable, and his coworker was laughing along with his jokes.
they very closely watch my brown/black partner when we go. they will watch my partner pump gas before paying attention to the white person inside the store. one time the two of us were looking at sunglasses and trying them on and an employee came up and asked what we were doing. i told him we were looking at sunglasses. he stood directly behind us until we left.
My partner has gone inside to pay for gas, and the employee at the counter for no reason refused to let my partner pay inside and made us pay at the pump, which is a good way to get information stolen.
while making transactions, they obnoxiously explain every step to you. my card's chip is messed up so I have to swipe it. I try to tell them I know what I'm doing and that I've navigated their system countless times before, and they would see me once every few days, but they wouldn't stop. they would even physically take my card out of my hand without asking or warning me to do it on their own even though I was trying to explain I know what I'm doing.
the (only) woman who works there is very sweet but every other employee I have encountered there has had me leaving the store fuming, and that is not something that happens go me often. I cannot justify giving these people my time, energy, or money, and I gladly pay extra to avoid that kind of negativity.
my advice: stay far away.

The older woman at the cash register is HORRIBLE. she is so completely rude and went off on me for parking at a pump when there was no parking anywhere else, mind you I was in the gas station for 30 seconds buying a water bottle. I called the owner and he was very nice to me said it was fine to park at a pump as I get gas there all the time anyways.

Very rude older lady working the counter. I couldnt find the beer I wanted and she asked what I was looking for. I said I was gonna go somewhere else, no biggie I was in a great mood didn't mind. She said "whatever." in the rudest tone?? Not sure what her problem was but we're never coming back to this gas station. made us uncomfortable.

Warning to stay away from this Gas station, I filled gas during a snowy day and my truck died 10 feet away. Took it to the local dealership and they said they found water in the gas tank. Long story short. It's been a month I still haven't received a refund for all the repairs I had to do to get the vehicle running. Owner is constantly making excuses

Don’t waste your money here. They won’t let you pee while you fill up. Lady was rude too.

Come on guys( owners of this Valero). I’m sure you can find a little better help than the Rude, pushy, scam artist, bald guy that lies about charging extra on our credit cards because you charge for debit!!! Which is bs by the way. If you need more cushion on your p/nl margins... put it in your products. Also, most importantly. Offer a minimal bulk discount. That will boost your profit alone.
