HL Supermarket

Great store for all your grocery needs. Although it says Asian store, you can find other items here as well. You can find fresh fish, meats, vegetables and fruits. It is clean, the staff are pleasant and helpful.

A nice branch from the HL from Brooklyn likes to see that the establishment is expanding well. The smell of live seafood just kicks me in my nose a little but although it is a big store, the staff are also nice

Just found HL Supermarket today and WOW!! Fresh everything! The fruit was beautiful and the seafood selection was incredible. We saw things we’ve never seen before and were in the store for about an hour just exploring. We bought some candies for the grandbabies to try, some amazing looking ribs for the grill and a selection of noodles to try. I can’t wait to come back to get all the fixings for stir fry. This place is incredible!!

Very clean, lots of fresh produce. In Seafood there is a great selection. Lots of parking, and spacious isles to shop around.

Excellent market, amazing live seafood selection as well as meats. Vegetables are fresh. To my surprise, they have fresh bamboo shoots! Love it! The Chinese really know how to eat😋

We discovered HL Supermarket at 2380 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY. Full of fresh vegetables, fruits from different parts of the world and Chinese brands of canned and packeted food. This is where you need to go if you are looking for fresh vegetables. Prices were more towards the lower side.

As a Staten Island resident, I’ve found this Chinese supermarket to be a delightful discovery. It caters wonderfully to the Asian community and anyone interested in Asian cuisine. The supermarket offers a wide range of products, from fresh produce to a variety of Asian specialties. Its clean, well-organized environment, coupled with the friendly and knowledgeable staff, makes each shopping trip enjoyable. It’s become my go-to place for authentic Asian groceries, and I highly recommend it to those seeking a quality and authentic shopping experience in Staten Island.

I’m giving it 5 stars just because there NOW is a big Asian supermarket on the island 🏝 saves me time going to New Jersey,Brooklyn or Chinatown . Thank you soo much for not price hiking the goods like others who have ended up losing money and customers and thank you to the people who work there and much appreciation to the owners ! Very wise decision having a market like this here . We needed it ! I am putting my shoes on now to check this out for myself after hearing soo many great reviews!

I still give it the same stars . It’s huge and everything is fair priced . I bought 2 slabs of pork belly for $5 to bbq .
Saved a lot of money going here but I do hope they get a hot bar real soon as well as microwaveable meals when I don’t feel like cooking . Other than that great store !

The atmosphere is MAXIMUM close to Chinese. I walked in and felt like I had been in China - the same products, the same smells.

Great shopping option for Asian groceries on Staten Island. No more running to Brooklyn or NJ. Save on gas and tolls, & even has a parking lot. Lots of meat and seafood selections. No bakery or cooked bbq items available though.

This is one of the best places to shop on S.I I used to travel to their other locations across the water and I'm so happy that they brought one here but watch out for the cashiers because some of them act really racist and will look in your closed bags from the seafood department if your BLACK ( I'm saying this because its happen to me twice) and I spent MONEY MONEY with them and i don't see them do it to their OWN PEOPLE AT ALL, OTHER THEM THAT the food is fresh and prices are outstanding... Oooh wait they also tried to charge me $28.00 for a bag of dang cherries 1 day and I put them rt back because I'll pick my own before I pay that price

Biggest Chinese supermarket in Staten Island yet. The variety of food selection is massive. Clean but hard to find a parking.

Finally a “real” Asian style market on Staten Island. Hope they keep prices for products comparable to the ones in Brooklyn. Also freshness of products.

Reasonable price(same prices as the Brooklyn HL supermarket store), wide ranges of groceries. Really nice that they sell live seafoods, fresh meat and ribs, Chinese vegetables and fruits. I don’t have to go to Brooklyn for Chinese groceries anymore!
The only thing I might complain is that there are just too many people, there ain’t enough parking slots. Hopefully it was just because today is the first day of opening.

I enjoy coming to this supermarket because it is an extension of their Brooklyn location. The prices in the meat and fish section are decent, and they have a good amount of parking.

Great Chinese supermarket. The prices are reasonable. Their fresh meat department is clean and is always full of shoppers waiting for meat products. Be prepared to voice your request to the next available butcher. As they may jump on another person's order. The vegetables and fruit department is fully stocked and has a large selection. If you are looking for a certain Asian spice, than be prepared to be stumped with a large selection. Google what you want and then bring a picture to show the staff.

One note of caution. The parking lot can get crowded and a lot of the drivers don't know what they are doing.

Best supermarket in Staten Island. Asian goodies at its best. They just have everything you need. Good organization and reasonable pricing too.

This market is huge and will be extremely popular. Get there early if you want a parking spot!

Amazing array of domestic and imported goods, fresh fish and meats, fresh vegetables and fruit (some very unusual), imported chocolates and delicious cakes. Love this market!

This is one of the most wonderful markets to shop at! I use a mobility scooter on a regular basis, and both the customers and the folks that work there are so helpful and friendly. Their meats and seafoods are high-quality at very affordable prices, and their selection of spices is Quite wonderful. I wish there were more hours in the day to enjoy the incredible selection of so many different things they have there.❣🤗
