Still has a reasonable selection even given the impact of transportation shortages. Always friendly staff available to help you find an item. Clean restrooms if you need them.

Usually fairly well stocked. I'm a gig worker so go here pretty often.

I’ve liked the store and always liked the special pricing but management has changed since spring and I am ALWAYS ALWAYS taken care of no matter what the issue. Older grouchy male manager made everything difficult…. Fish rots at the head … and now that head is making a huge difference for the better (best) grocery store around State College!

Well laid out store, well lit, stocked well and prices very competitive. EV charging stations right in parking lot in front. Very convenient. Gas pumps are convenient as well. Access to store has 2 entrances, making it efficient.

I live 4 minutes from Giant and usually shop here for my quick needs shopping. A recent article compared prices between Wegmans, Walmart, Giant, and Weis finding Giant was usually the priciest option for basic items like milk, eggs, etc. However, being a parent of 2 young kids, having a Starbucks located inside this Giant location (sugar for the kids, caffeine for the parent) and the fun "kids size" shopping carts makes shopping trips here fun for all. Giant has, (in many local residents opinions and my own) the best produce (both freshness and variety) compared to the other above mentioned stores and this Giant has an excellent daily made sushi selection. This location has a friendly, family atmosphere and has great variety of foods and options. Your bill will be higher compared to Walmart grocery shopping but makes up for it in service, available amenities, and proximity convenience.

The new giant is great! The employees are nice and helpful, the shelves are stocked and the prices are great..it will take some time learning the layout, but I love grocery stores( I know I am a weirdo). The pharmacist is still the same ( Casey) and a great customer oriented person.

Clean store that is well stocked and has a great food and produce selection. Pricing is very reasonable. There is a beer & wine section along with a hot foods bar. If you have a registered Bonus card you can use the scan & go option so your check out session goes quickly.

This is a very nice, clean, HUGE Giant store. They have a decent beer and wine section, delicious Chinese takeout (try the meatballs, yum! Yes, they are a sweet n sour flavor!) and plenty of everything else. Very clean, but it's brand new. The only negative is that when you enter at the light across from Sheetz and the pizza place, that first turn immediately after the light is SO TIGHT, there will be accidents there for sure. People come screaming off of Atherton, make that hairpin turn and folks are leaving the parking lot, too.

Definitely one of the better grocery stores on this side of town. Giant has a reputation of being the "posh peoples" grocery store, and then Wegmans moved in lol. Their primary competitor was Weis before then.

Despite all that I think the quality of Giant has remained consistent, and Weis has upped their prices and not upped the quality of their services or food. This is the better store for sure!

Outstanding selections in EVERY area of this store! Wide isles and bright lighting. Sell beer and wine. Have numerous selections of hot and cold foods for takeout. Countless varieties of specialty food and beverage.
