When it's open it's fine, but either the employees will randomly lock the doors during operating hours or they are too short staffed to cover all the shifts. Either way pretty stupid when I can't walk in at 4pm on a Thursday to grab something.

I was so excited when this location opened as it’s only a quarter mile from my house. Right at the end of my street. I would no longer have to fight Main Street or Mauldin traffic to get a few quick essentials, and I loved shopping for home decor here and gifts for my clients as well. Not to mention the staff is very friendly. Being open until 10 was also great for things I needed to grab last minute when everything else is closed. It was so convenient, until I pulled up the other day to see that their new hours are now 8am-6pm. They’re losing my business not even because I don’t like the change, but because I don’t even get home from work until 6:15pm at the earliest. Very disappointed.

I LOVED this DG as it’s very close to me & super convenient for that reason! But within the last 4 times I’ve tried to go (two different Sunday’s in early afternoon, literally lunch hours from 12ish to 1:30) and others were around late afternoon (4PM-ish) and they’ve been closed every time! Their hours are still until 10pm online but I’m just not sure what’s going on?

4 o'clock on a Wednesday and they are closed. Sign on the door said closed early 12/19/23. It's 12/20/23

Even when you call for help the bell will buzz until you ask are you going to help ( the manager ) she told me to wait a sec when she was just standing in door way of office
It was a young lady I let in front of me that complained about how the store is and another young man that was waiting behind me later left and put up his items because the manager wanted to argue back and forth instead of putting the energy into helping getting customers out
Next as I ended conversation with her I was talking with customers and she then wanted to jump in our conversation to out talk and be argumentative I then told her we are talking no one is talking to her she then kept going back and forth as line was still there and getting bigger
The whole argument was because I stated if your cashier is on break as she told me why I had to wait and others I said they should have manager be able to come out to handle situations and open another register when cashier is on break and how it’s always problems with service she said they are broke etc etc a lot more said but in end when cashier got off break I went to her register and the manager had to come and still figure out how to do the transaction I needed to be done and at first she had issues but she did it not how I wanted to get last minute item on Christmas Eve

It’s always a lot going on with this store

So I recently moved to Mauldin with my boyfriend and this was the closest Dollar General to us that we loved going to every single day. For the last 3 1/2 weeks this store has been closed during the entire day of operation when it’s stated that it’s open on the company website. I just got off the phone with headquarters in Tennessee and gave them this exact store’s , location and ZIP Code to start an investigation with the district manager. I have a case number and I will be reporting back so hopefully something happens you guys. When I was on the phone with corporate I had the representative to look up if there were any repairs that were happening within the store as to why it would be closed and they told me that there are no repairs. There’s no maintenance that’s happening so it should be open now.

I really wish I could give lower than. The store is always a mess and they have random hours.

Just after 1pm on a Friday and it's dark as night inside. This has become a chronic issue for this location from what i have heard from other locals and business associates - not to mention the feedback posts here. Might as well just mark the place permanently closed.

Store was closed at 5:30 pm on 6/6/2023. This is the second time going there to shop and it’s not open but the lights are on. Will not be back.

I have done multiple online orders and most of them get canceled with no reason or say the items are out of stock. Then I come into the store and all my items are in stock so why can't my order get pulled by a employee. Do not give us the option to place a order on line and then don't want to do the job.

Came to this store for a quick candy run and as I’ve read in the other reviews, the doors were locked. To make matters even worse, one of the workers was there near the door and acted as if she didn’t see me. Nice that this store is close but won’t be going here again.

Crazy i pull up at 11:50am doors locked clearly see a female worker changing trash wouldn’t even come to the door another location that’s not needed
