Wawa

This Wawa is located on prime location in historic mile right in other corner of Liberty Bell & Independence Hall. I visited the biggest store of Wawa in country on opening day. It was jam packed. Interior was decorated with modern & traditional mixed style. Local folks was really excited and specially about two sitting areas. Some customers was busy in getting free coffee, I think they offered free coffee 1st three days, other was ordering on latest touchscreen self order system. This place have Coffee & Bakery section, Fresh to go, cold drink and Snacks section and ice cold drink, free WiFi and PNC bank ATM. It will open 24 hours and offer breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The food was good for the most part, and was prepared relatively quickly in comparison to other Wawa locations. This location is one of my favorite locations to visit in Philadelphia. For the most part, it's stocked with a sufficient amount of products.

Biggest. Wawa. In the world!!! I've already been here a few times and yes, each time I've come it's been crowded, however the amount of time I spend here is not long due to waits. Staff are efficient and great! There are two checkout areas, a cafe section, bakery section, and a section to pickup your kiosk food. It's huge, lots of space but it looks like it has the same amount of food items to buy and is just bigger due to the space, seating, amount of kiosks, and checkout spots, besides apparel I don't see any more selection or stock of regular items you can at most Wawas. I also love their toasted caramel. Mmmmm I haven't seen it at the other Wawas I frequent

Only on Saturday night, is when gets really busy . Was there for about 50 plus minutes waiting on a hoagie and for them to put more coffee out.....thank goodness someone opened the other register . The lines were back to the fridge.

Nice and spacious layout. Grabbed a couple of waters and a custom hot hoagie philly cheesesteak. Ate in with plenty of seating. Great.

This is probably one of my favorite Wawa’s I’ve ever been to. It’s always so nice they have a great selection of products, they even sell wawa merchandise too. I went here for the first time a few years ago and have loved it since. I highly recommend this wawa.

This location is a big space, Rey clean and the staff are very friendly, lots to choose from and as you can see from the pics a comfy seating area were you can relax before carrying with you’re day!!!

Only went in to order drinks but this is a really nice Wawa in a really convenient location near the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall! A lot of open space with good seating. Worth noting that seating is only able to be used between 10am-3pm.

I grabbed a quick lunch here once arriving. A simple toasted hoagie provides a good meal and there are plenty of beverage options. In the corner of the store are a few tables to eat at. It's a great and convenient choice.

Once again, STOP using Old lettuce & stale rolls, birds don't even want it. Employees at food section are RUDE!!

very nice Wawa. very clean, nice employees, very helpful! plenty of space in here, you will not be bumping into people! and there are registers in the front and the back of the store for a quick and easy check out! public restrooms as well! there are a good number of seats and tables are here and there is not limit to seating (because the walnut locust one has a 15 min limit) great store.

Not too busy, a lot of open space, great self service kiosks.

Any Wawa regular will feel right home at this location. An extremely large footprint allows this location to had a wide selection especially for beverages. The staff was friendly and service was fast as usual. Bonus points for being one of the few Wawa locations that has a seating area
Albeit small, definetley welcomed

This is a brand new Flagship WaWa store (at the time of this review) located in the Olde City District of Philadelphia. The location of the building is diagonal to our famed Liberty Bell.
The interior of the store is very spacious and has most of the amenities expected in a modern flagship store. This includes wifi ... several self service stations to order food ...
seating area ... and well stocked with the items you're used to purchasing from WaWa locations.
I work overnights in the immediate area, and this store was a dream come true for us after hours workers.
The customer service is top notch even during the off peak hours... and as would be expected with so many out of town visitors coming to visit the Independence Hall attractions which is located literally across the street
I foresee this location to be one of the best WaWa stores in the city ... they could proverbially "print the money" .....as long as they keep up the great customer service as well as staying stocked with products.
The saying "we're out of stock" should never be heard in a flagship store!

Me and my mom just stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat and I must say as a current wawa employee I was very satisfied with the customer service. Register and deli employees were kind and on point. Will be back again!

UPDATE

I'm going to attribute my first day experience at WAWA to new growing pains. The staff at most WAWA's are good to great. The staff at this WAWA have been consistently GREAT! So polite and helpful! Good food and selections. Breakfast sandwiches made to order are my faves. I'm changing my rating to a well earned FIVE stars!!

Was hoping for great things. Opening day, had the worse WAWA hoagie ever. Bread was dry, tomatoes hard and not fresh, very very little mayo or oil, no oregano, very small amount of lettuce. Incredibly dissappointing. Please do better. Sigh.

Wawa is located on Chestnut Street in Downtown or Center City Philly this is not your typical Wawa its very big i came here on my way to the Reading Terminal Market the fun thing about this place is that it is wear old meets new because it is in a very old building but the vibe is a new late 2010s vibe it has everything you want the selection is amazing the service is good i really recommend this Wawa it is a amazing vibe looovvvveeee this Wawa
