Let’s just say I found my go to store that has a variety of products from house cleaning, snacks, fitness, stationary, kitchen utensils, and much much more. It’s like an affordable mini Japanese target in my terms. I absolutely enjoy shopping at the store which such great prices.

This store is a lot of fun. To call it a 'Japanese dollar store' would be wrong because everything isn't a dollar. The prices are in Yen and there are a few signs in every aisle with the conversion to US dollars. If an item doesn't have a price in Yen then its $1.99. There are aisles with school supplies, home decorating, toys, art and crafts, travel items, automotive, gardening supplies, home organizing for home office, bathroom and kitchen, house cleaning, beauty, kitchen and cooking supplies, dishes and cups plus some snacks. Everything has a very neat Japanese aesthetic and a good amount of cuteness. Many home decor items are seasonal so grab them while you can, other things like cleaning and home organizing are always available. I like getting short drinking straws for small lunchbox drinks, storage bins to organize my fridge, and a rice mold to make California rolls at home easily. Their stationery items are great- super cute, unique post its, erasable highlighters (Yes! They DO erase!)all sorts of paper clips and note books. Remember that Japanese homes are small and they use space wisely, so housewares are scaled down. You won't find huge 18" long rolls of foil like in American supermarkets, but you will find petite silicone bakeware and rolls of plastic and parchment in proportion to that. You'll find everything to pack a super thorough lunch right down to mini bottles for sauces and little condiment cups with lids. Its a great store and I always find cool stuff to buy!

We came to this plaza to shop at Daiso and it is a truly amazing experience! The store is fairly good size and everything is so neatly organized. I was overwhelmed with the cute stationeries they have, and I filled up my shopping bag with Calbee chips and chocolate snacks. Highly recommended!!!

Great daiso with friendly employees! They will gladly help you find items you need and all items are well stocked. The cashier, i believe his name is Isaiah, was extremely friendly and patient at checkout. Will be coming to this daiso location instead of edgewater

When visiting Japan, I came upon a fun store, Daiso, where music was played and many items were quite inexpensive. Great for fun souvenirs, I thought. The Japanese Dollar store chain, Daiso, and back then, I had wished there had been in NJ. I was quite excited when I found two Daiso stores within NJ this year!

Daiso is a Japanese inexpensive variety store that has some pretty good quality items, such as housewares, kitchenware, cosmetics, adorable stationery for those who love to do journals, toys, and many interesting Japanese snacks perfect for yourself or to share. If you enjoy or need help on organizing your desk or closets, you will find many organizers to keep your house out of chaos.

Quite recently, I was speaking to a wonderful lady who wanted to acquire some ramen bowls. I had rattled off some stores for her to visit but then remembered Daiso carries some nice porcelain dishware. I had visited Daiso in the Edgewater, NJ location and found their selection not as vast as this location. I found an entire section dedicated to dishware where you can purchase beautiful ramen bowls, sake cups, and many other items that can be purchased and not break your wallet. I just could not resist so I purchased some, myself.

Upon purchasing my dishware, the cashier was nice enough to not only wrap each dishware separately, but she also used tape to ensure it does not unravel during my trip home.

I found the entire store clean, calm and filled with so many beautiful items, I am going to be stopping by more often when I am in the area. This store is found in the same complex as H-Mart. Parking is easy since it is in a shared shopping complex.

The wide range of affordable and quality products they offer is incredible. It's become my go-to place for finding practical and creative items for everyday use. The store's organized layout and friendly staff make shopping there a breeze. Whether it's household essentials or fun knick-knacks, Daiso never disappoints. Definitely a gem for those looking to find great value and variety in one place!

Great deals on Japanese home goods that you don't typically find in American home goods stores.

Has all the cutesy items you would expect from Daiso including kitchen/dining utensils plus other things.

Plenty of parking sharing the same lot as HMart.

If you love dollar stores....this place will make you so happy. Not everything is a dollar...but I filled an entire basket and it was only $60. They have the COOLEST stuff. You won't be disappointed.

This place seems to have the most products and display best in a spacious place compared to other Daiso stores in the area. This store is also conveniently located in a multi korean restaurants and Cafes including H mart. I love this Daiso.

The store is super clean, organized, well-lit and the female cashier who was there couldn’t have been more friendly! The prices are all in yen, so it was a little confusing for me in the beginning. After speaking with the cashier, and combining that with the signs posted in the store, I felt more confident with understanding how it worked. All the items that don’t have a certain yen on the packaging are $1.99. I found several unique items in this store that I have never seen anywhere else…and 99% of the items I bought were at that $1.99 price point. So surprised with this gem. It’s worth a trip to check this store out!

My new favorite place. Neatly organized and clean. A good selection of kitchen items, a couple aisles of snacks. It is a bit smaller than the one in Edgewater.

This place has everything you NEVER knew you wanted or needed! It reminds me of a smaller-scale-Japanese-style-IKEA, but without big furniture. Without a price explicit on the package, everything is $1.99 and there is a chart for items with yen pricing. It's one of those stores when I want to buy something but not spend too much money and have it be useful. It has a LOT of cute kid things too. Plan to spend some time and take a stroll. There is something nifty in pretty much all the aisles.

It's the Japanese version of the dollar store but the items do not cost $1.00, instead the cheapest items are $1.99 which isn't bad. There is a handy Yen to USD guide which you can use to figure out what the price will be.
There is a variety of products which is cool, and I mean variety. School supplies, cute Japanese trinkets, toys, hardware, beauty, garden, camping, kitchen, (note every pan is aluminum so buyer beware), bath, office, home, etc. There is something for everyone.

What’s not to like? They have lots of cute and useful things that you didn’t even know you needed until you walked in. I found little tools that clean under the rubber thingy in my kitchen drain, containers with a pour spout, lots of cute stickers, and a tzochke holder that looks like a coffee cup.

Love Daiso! Incredible deals...lots of items are only $1.99. Picked up giant triple pack of S rings, a tiny ferris wheel armature, dog stainless steel eye combs, very thick plastic cutlery trays, and many more items for that price. Clean and easy to find merchandise in the store. Much nicer than the Dollar Tree store since it is constantly being tidied...plus salespeople are friendly and courteous.
