Tarot cards, crystals, The Spell Jar Bar, and the books… ALL the books! I can’t stop in briefly without walking away with at least one more new book. Isabel, the shop owner and most magical of people, knows the metaphysical and how to source the best literature and anything else you might need to keep in the shop.

The Bell & Raven also hosts Tarot Card, past life, and aura readings performed by various local sought-after mediums. Additionally, if you have the opportunity to sign up for a workshop to create or put your mind at ease for the new moon I strongly encourage you to do it!

Whenever I am feeling the need for inspiration, a recharge, acceptance, or just to be reminded of life’s simple joys this is my go-to spot!

I absolutely love this place, the owner I presume I forgot her name unfortunately was so very sweet. I went there about two times, incredibly helpful and friendly, the first time when I was looking around she was teaching little kids how to make a spell jar it was adorable. I also like the lord of the rings books she has on her shelves I’m a huge Tolkien nerd, not just an occult books but also great fairy tale and fantasy books she has. It’s a small place but definitely has really great items ranging from books, tarot, crystals, etc. she also changes it up a bit.

I first visited this lovely, lovely store under the significant peer pressure of my best friend….

Since that first visit in early August I have been back almost every week. I love to explore the books in the ever changing selection the store has to offer….

The store has such an enchanting vibe. Isabelle and her staff took time to answer all my questions. I HAD A LOT OF QUESTIONS….

My eyes have been opened to a world view I never could have imagined and I love this new path I’m on….

The most wonderful, inclusive, magical metaphysical shop in Connecticut. Not only does the owner welcome us to her shop every time we visit, she remembers our names, knows our likes, and pays special attention to our child. Wonderful selection of merchandise, fabulous staff, exciting events for the whole family. We go here regularly and Ms. Isabel a a huge gift to the witchy community and to Connecticut as a whole.

Fantastic, authentic, gorgeous store with the most incredible staff and owner/manager. Welcoming and harmonious energy. Wide, ever-changing selection of unique and fun items. Elegant and meaningful decor. A must-visit place in the entire Farmington Valley.

I attended in an introductory class on crystals with Katie. It was OUTSTANDING. Katie did an amazing job of sharing the basics, with a healthy dose of the science behind crystal energy healing - something I may not have encountered in a LONG time. :) This was an exceptional opportunity to begin to open my mind to learning more and I love that Bell and Raven offers a safe space for me to explore. My family and I had a very nice time visiting this tastefully magical little boutique shop on the first day of summer of 2023. There are a lot of unique items here and I would imagine we might have spent a bit more time there, but I was on a lunchbreak and needed to get back to work. We found these singing bowls and Isabel, the store owner, showed us how to work them. Beautiful sounds. I would have loved to purchase them all but decided on this one. I really liked the sound, and more importantly... it played easily for me! Later, I was able to measure its primary note as C# and I looked it up. The note falls between Root Chakra: C and, Sacral Chakra: D. I'm not at all sure what that means (I googled it), but I still really like the sound it makes when it sings.

Thank you, Isabel, for spending a little time with us and this singing bowl. You have something special there in your magical shop. We really enjoyed your store and will come back again.

This is one of the most welcoming stores I've been into! The staff is incredibly open, friendly, and welcoming. As someone new to the metaphysical world and all things witchy, I have loved visiting each and every time. I learn something new I think every time I stop in. Isabel and team have curated some beautiful items as well as sessions to attend - which I have loved! Where does one begin? This store feels like a magician pulled the curtain and it popped out of nowhere in the most amazing way! The atmosphere is welcoming and the décor(although I would just say it’s not decor but a lifestyle put into color and texture) is a mix of old apothecary and warm metaphysical delights. The smiles that greet you are only enhanced by the knowledge behind them and the willingness to share. Whether you are a maiden and just curious, a mother involved, or a crone and full of skills and wisdom: The Bell & the Raven does not disappoint. Items for sale rotate on a balanced schedule and you only need to wait just a week before you are pleasantly surprised again! There are classes, literature events, readings, skill building exercises and so much more.The owner and staff make your experience one that is hard to forget but in the most wonderful ways. The owner, Isabel, hosts a number of workshops and classes herself, but also brings in other teachers and readers to round out the offerings. Definitely a unique and magical addition to the Farmington Valley!

The Bell & Raven has become my second home since I stumbled across it in February of this year. The real gold mine is the staff. Isabel, Katie and Gwen have been an immense help with not only my purchases and readings but my general metaphysical/spiritual questions as well. I love the atmosphere and the offerings at any given time are wonderful.

Isabel hosts incredible new moon circles full of intention and clarifying energy and everything stocked in the shop is chosen with such intention to detail. Isabel’s heart for lifting up other small business owners as she builds and runs her dream is such a beautiful thing. I came in today to make a spell jar as a gift that was incredibly important to me for a friend who just endured a life-threatening surgery. The team at The Bell and Raven were compassionate, took time to explain the properties of each element I could choose from, printed a special copy of the information for him to look at when he received his jar, and even made the bag special with tissue paper. He was so incredibly grateful for the gift and I am so glad I went to The Bell and Raven. After all we have endured the last couple of weeks, it was just the love and light I needed.
