Hornbill Asian Market

We are very grateful to Hornbill Asian Market for bringing the finest and freshest Asian provisions to Dubuque. We used to have to travel all the way to Madison, Wisconsin for recipe ingredients! Now, we shop locally for their fresh, authentic produce, specialty foods, spices and herbs, and chef equipment for all my North Indian, Korean, Thai and Japanese cuisine recipes. The price points are very fair and much better than HyVee for general groceries. The store is sparkling clean, very well organized and the staff are courteous and helpful. Parking is only steps away from the store!

Visited this store for the first time today. Very impressive selection, well organized, and fair prices. Will definitely be shopping there in the future!

Considering the very small Asian community here in Dubuque this market has become a very nice grocery store for our family to get something in an emergency since we normally have to go to Glenview IL to shop once a month and if we run out of anything this nice store most likely will have it.

super fun place to just look around and see all the interesting things they sell! enjoyed trying some of the treats I've heard so much about. nice workers too, love it!

This is the only place to find specific Asian ingredients. Whenever we cook dinner, we always come here for our groceries.

Employees are super friendly and are helpful.
Considering we're getting A+ groceries imported all the way here in Iowa, this is amazing.

One stop shop!

Could be better with Stock on Hand products or even have more south-East Asian products if possible but overall clean tidy atmosphere.

This market is amazing!! They have so much variety and at great prices.

First of all if you cook ,you do some Asian cooking. Maybe you do so.e American again or real. But in all,there is so much to buy here don't go to hyvee . Anything again get it here. Tons of salt water fish.....fresh vegs.... I have even gotten live blue crabs there in the spring...they have a ton to offer..I have bought many knives all sharp as hell. I just spent 75 there this past weekend....but as a family we cook..screw takeout I prefer to make it my self.. had tons of the fish everything.. recommend to all for sure.. just go

Great store considering the size of Dubuque. It has many different types of Asian products that cover the gamut. If you all they would probably order whatever you can come up with. I was very impressed with the selection. Prices are a little high, but if it's a must have to make the perfect family dish, then this is the place that would have it.

Small but they have everything you need for your dinner. From Pho to Thai pad to egg rolls.

I’m so excited to have found this place! I love making Asian cuisine and struggle to find quality ingredients at a reasonable price. I often find myself gravitating to Amazon to make it easier but not anymore! This market has SO much variety and so many options for sauces, rice, noodles, snacks, and I didn’t even explore the frozen section! I just stopped in to see what all was there and had my arms full by the time I left. This is definitely going to be a regular stop for my grocery needs.

Absolutely love this place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked with a great variety of foods and the prices are very good! I love visiting as often as I can! The frozen bagged chicken is awesome for making bone broth, highly recommended.

Awesome place! If you love Asian food this is the place to shop. They have a well stocked noodle isle with most Asian cuisine you can think of. They also carry some African foods.

Authentic Asian products. Clean, orderly, much selection, but densely packed. Crazy fresh produce. Frozen duck, quail, and I think chicken. Dried mushrooms. Always try to stop when visiting Dubuque.

This market is AWESOME! They have everything, from impossible to get Asian and Indian spices, to frozen Asian fish, to offal, both beef and pork. Now you can rest easy when your Asian Tiger Mom comes to visit because she can find EVERYTHING to make you that home cooked meal that reminds you of home!

Excellent Asian grocery store. The produce is fresh and well priced. Huge selection of products, highly recommended. You will absolutely find something you would like to try there!

First time in a Asian store I loved it can't wait to go back started a list of the things i need next time they have sriracha and I haven't been able to find it in stores in months

Great, just great not only does it have one of the greatest selections of foods I have never seen, not only does it have sweets and deserts I’ve never even had the pleasure of trying till now, but it also has some of the nicest staffs I have ever had the pleasure of meeting 10/10 would definitely shop again.

My Family & I have been going here since the place opened & I have to say they have the nicest selection of good's in the area, I've been wishing for a place like this so I wouldn't have to travel several hundred miles to Maddison or Chicago makes me hope they do well so maybe they would consider opening paces even closer to me like in Platteville or even Prairie du Chien in Wisconsin I know that's a bit selfish but what can I say.... its nice

We were thrilled to find this Asian market. We are new to town and we weren't sure if we were going to find an Asian market that carried a nice selection, but we were very pleased with the selection. The staff was friendly and helpful.
