In All my years (beginning 1990's) shopping and dealing with RiteAid (before the name change, under previous to present management), I've received good quality service by All their employees! If or when there was any type of discrepancy, or did not have what I needed, someone would looked into and/or provide an alternate solution!
If and when I see an Employee busy doing something, (Patience!) is My Priority! And I have witnessed during my visits, that they Do acknowledge the customers!
