They have a wide variety of items for sale at great prices, including home furniture, office tables, computers, desktops, overhead projectors, and even some vinyl records. Everything was in excellent condition and well-priced. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend the Purdue Surplus Store to anyone looking for great deals on a variety of items

Although they mostly (or maybe exclusively) sell surplus university equipment, furniture, etc. (hence the name), there are a lot of hidden gems here that you can repurpose. I bought this mail sorting cabinet thing, I'm not sure exactly what they're called, but it makes for a great modular storage unit since the shelves can be moved around to create hundreds of different configurations. Of course there's also a bunch of old lab equipment that maybe someone has a use for but aren't really aimed at a general audience, but it's definitely worth a visit. Their inventory is constantly changing but they're active on Facebook so you can see what's newly arrived. Highly recommend!

Great place to buy unusual things. Keep in mind that there are no refunds. Recently I bought a projector there for 800 bucks and it was pretty much DOA in no time. Learned a good lesson on that.

If you're looking for that certain something, especially if it's office related, this place is sure to have it! I got a great deal on a sturdy folding table just last week! Even if you're not looking for anything it's fun to look around. Cash or card accepted.

Fantastic place to pick up some old tech, furniture, or just random knick knacks. You usually have to keep an eye on their Facebook page for the best drops though, and sometimes the good items run out pretty quickly. I got a solid 1080p 22" monitor here that I've been using for over a year now

Great finds for afforable prices. Most things are pretty good quality, esp. furniture. Found a great chemistry lab cabinet that we converted into a desk for me. Opening hours can be hard to for into a typical mom schedule, as it is open mostly in the afternoons.

I bought a computer for my Child. It was a Dell laptop computer. The brain of the computer was removed so I had to go to computer place that is up the hill from Triple X. I found that the laptop computer wires decent but the keyboard really didn’t work well. So we had to get another keyboard. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Love coming in here. It's always fun to see what new things are available. You could come here a couple days a week. The inventory changes often. The prices are very fair, with most things listed for around half of what you would pay on Ebay or similar. Computers for $25-300, LCD monitors for $10-50, furniture, test equipment, industrial supplies, all kinds of crazy stuff!

Decent supply of items. Come here for furniture and tech parts, not clothes.

Delivered a load of university equipment, nice & friendly staff, unloaded pretty quick, restrooms available, you should be able to park overnight.

Good selection of items. Usually not new condition but most things still work. Prices reflect condition.

I especially like the Purdue clothing. Best T-shirts for a good price. I bought a Purdue shirt on Amazon and it wasn't the same quality. The colors were faded. So really, this bookstore is the perfect place for the school shirts.

Always cool stuff for sale. Prices are hit or miss. Sometimes great value, sometimes laughably overpriced for used items. Fun to walk around and check in every once in a while.
