Fresh Start

Staff is always friendly and helpful. With many C- stores to choose from, I go out of my way to use this one due to that positive attitude.

Conveniently located on the northwest corner of the S-curve across the street from hospital. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. A well maintained location kept clean, despite being an older building.

Resonable plus competitively priced merchandise.

The snack bar is nice with decent pizza.

As far a gas stations go, the YesWay brand "Fresh Start" would be ranked pretty high up there. The service has always been awesome, the employees are extremely nice and professional, and the business itself is clean. The only reason I haven't ranked at a 5 out of 5 is due to the limited products (for me personally they don't tend to carry what I'm always looking for) and the prices can be a bit steep (not jaw dropping prices at all, just a bit higher than what I would usually see, but that's to be expected with a C-Store).

I don't often go in, but when I do I'm always left with a positive impression. I've only dealt with the night shift over the past few years.

It's not funny to leave people standing in the cold waiting while you take your time getting back to your register 😕...tired of the ones that think it is.

Last night I had around a $190 casino ticket I had the young gentleman cash for me. I told him he could take $10 out of the amount as a tip. He preceded to take $60 of it for himself. He should have counted the cash back to me like everyone else but he didn’t. I also didn’t count the cash back to myself because I felt I could trust the dude since I already gave him $10 of my winnings….I counted the money today and realized I should have 45-50 more dollars then I do. Last time a few weeks ago…. I had a higher amount casino ticket again. I had this same exact thing happen to me. I shrugged it off because I thought it was my own doing but now I realize that it was him stealing my money again.
Pretty crazy they got rid of the main guy who worked nights. Their best worker they had because they accused him of stealing or overpaying a casino ticket but in reality their other employee is stealing people’s winnings if he can get away with it. I wonder how many people he does this too because he can get away with it. I’m Pretty upset and disgusted in the guy. I probably will be h showing up to ask him for my money back.
