Shout out to Kit. He assisted us with the liquor cabinet. I was indecisive but he was patient and understanding. It's service provided by people like Kit that will keep me coming back.

You have to be careful when you go because the lines can be long due to staff shortage but it's not the employee's fault so don't be mean to them. This used to be a nice neighborhood store and it's turned into a hangout for junkies and homeless. Sad to see such a downfall in the 15 years I've lived here.

Will the Safeway on 288th and military road in Federal Way I've always been treated good, one time I was left at the store and the manager gave me a ride home more than once, not saying that that's what they'll do for you I'm just saying how so nice and kind they can be the only problem I have is my girlfriend asked to use the restroom and they denied her because of somebody else's actions locking themselves in the bathroom so therefore she was asked to go potty outside. That I don't think was right otherwise the store is great

I don't usually go to this location but I went there tonight and I ended up an accident prone customer. SO embarrassing. 12 pack cans handle broke on me, spilled everywhere, then a case of water fell off my cart shortly after and exploded. I'm still mortified. But Ternel was working up front and when I told him about the soda, he was so kind, I offered to help. He immediately jumped to the rescue, with an amazing up beat attitude. Then... I was right next to him when the water fell and i just held my head, embarrassed. But he, being a gentleman, never once made me feel bad, I did that on my own lol he was so helpful and kind and if you go to this store, praise this man, he is a wonderful person! Thank you Ternel! And again, I'm SO sorry! That's never happened to me before! Thank you!!!

Best florist ever!!!! Frankie in Floral is awesome! You give her an idea of what you want the flowers to say, and she creates the best bouquets for any occasion. The answer is always "yes, flowers are a good idea!"

I love this Safeway. I was helped by two people on two different occasions by the name Mario, and Tyler. They weren't even working that department, and still went out of their way to help me out. The second time they remembered me, and helped me take my groceries to my car. I appreciate them, and will continue buying groceries there because of people like them two boys.

This Safeway always seems to go above and beyond for customers… I come and buy Red Bulls in the mornings, they have stocked up at times and when I can’t reach the fridge they do come and help out. And the manager at the deli is a sweet heart always making sure she puts fresh chicken out.

This 5 stars is for the night manager at 288th & military in federal way. I witnessed him be customer service, the cashier, & the one who unlocks locked items on shelves. All these positions in a more then timely matter. Was about a month ago but what i witnessed, he was a rock star and what all he has to deal with that time of night, he deserves at least few $'s raise. I now know its possible for one worker give fast service while also taking care of all customers needs. No one felt rushed or dismissed and he greeted & chatted with every customer. Very hard to come across type of worker these days and should be rewarded as such

Went looking for firewood for my fireplace 🔥 and it was the first thing I saw other then shoplifters getting spotted and failing at shoplifting

Is expensive here for sure and you'll never find prime meat no fresh bakery. But always a good stock of items good variety and incredible staff! (Accepy for the one guy that was caught by the cart narks at a different store not returning his cart) fuxk that dude.

Awesome ALWAYS good place, people here GREAT. I think they are under paid. Reason being they all are PERFECT examples of not beautiful people ;CUSTOMER SERVICE...safeway should teach classes because every Safeway truly makes you feel it's you favorite store. Thanks to all the SAFEWAY employees. You are greatly appreciated.....YOU ALL ARE ROCK STARS

It's a super small store, however, all the employees were super nice and super helpful. Bruce, the meat guy, hand cut me some steaks and they look so perfect! The deli workers were super helpful as well. Try it, you'll like the hometown feel!

The employees that work here Patty and Anna they are always so helpful, and greeting you if they see you with a smile on there faces, as well with the flower department girl Franky she dose amazing jobs on your flower arrangements i always come to this place plus its close to home.

I've been coming here for over 12 years now cause I live close by and I love the staff here. They're real friendly and willing to help out with whatever you need. The lines can get long in the mid afternoon/early evening(dinner rush) and it works against them due to the small size of the store but they've really been grinding lately amid the COVID crisis. All the employees are working super hard cleaning up and restocking at all hours of the day so if they appear busy it's cause they are and have to be right now. Wear a mask and be a little patient with them. Remember that we're all supposed to be trying harder and changing where it's necessary to get outta this mess. It's a transitional period all over the country right now not just here. I really appreciate all of their hard work and I think you will, too.

This is the local groceries for families at 288th and military and all down 288th. It's comparatively small, close, and I've never felt uncomfortable going in pajamas.
8/10 will go if I'm being lazy about driving too far.
As true now as it was when I wrote this year's ago.

I stopped inside this Safeway to grab a quick snack. The day before I grabbed a Snyder's wholey cheese that was very delicious so I came back. I saw the what seemed to be the manger (didn't get his name) and asked if they had any left since it was in the front by the cashier on display. I was very pleased with his service they didn't have any on shelf and they display was no longer up. So the manager went to the back and grabbed me 3 flavors which I so much appreciated I bought all 3.I know he could of told me sorry we are out but instead he went to look through the aisles and grabbed me more then what I asked for great customer services!

All the employees at safeway are super friendly. I just think too many Karen's walk into this safeway and make it hard on employees who are just doing their job the best they can. So props to them for keeping their cool and still being respectful!

It was pretty cool as this was my go-to store many years ago. I mentioned that to the young lady at the self check out that the store hadn't changed much. She pointed out some of the new chances such as the flower department. I wish I had her name. She was very pleasant at a proper distance.

Mario is your best worker. We see him there everytime we go, and he's always very sweet to us.

Safeway on the corner by my house is the place I stopped all the time it's very convenient in all of the people that work there from cashiers two people on the floor are very helpful and helping me find items that I don't know where are there very helpful and helping me bring out my groceries to my car they always have a smile on their face and they make me feel welcome and white part of the neighborhood I love this feeling like I'm going to a store in the small town where you get to know everybody and they take the time to get to know you and no matter what I ask or what help I need there's always someone willing to go out of their way to look for things if they're not on the shelves I'll go back in the back and check to see if they have any in stock and always go above and beyond what most doors will do so yes I give them 5 stars because they're very friendly helpful and always are dependable!
