Great location, just off the #101 freeway. One of the few parking lots with SHADE (lots of trees, needed for hot days). Good supply of camping equipment, shoes (from running to river sandals), fishing supplies, specialty clothing. The employees in the shoe section were very helpful, checked back with me, kept the area tidy and clear of boxes so you had a place to sit while trying on shies. This is a place where you'll want to check back periodically for sales, so keep a watch out for deals especially at major holidays (Labor Day, etc).

Shopping at Big 5 today got me all jazzed up for Christmas , with a special thanks to Jorge. He helped me find ALL of the perfect gifts I needed. There is a great variety of goodies to pick from. Always a great place whether you need camping equipment. Or ammunition. Check for your daily coupons and weekly discounts. At a big five near you.

Love the variety of backpack and lunch box options, they come in a variety of colors and sizes for children of all ages. My kids like thier swim wear and socks as well.

My elderly father needed a specific item we couldn't find at other stores.
I was surprised to find it here.
Price was not an object, but when I got to the checkout I found it was about 50% off (it was not marked as such on the box nor the shelf) happy surprise!
The staff were also friendly and helpful.

Went to big 5 today to purchase a hunting license. The employee and manager were super nice and helpful. Was in and out within 10 minutes. I definitely recommend this place!

I was able to find and walk out with 2 pairs of running shoes for my kids staying under $40 and using a $5 coupon. No need to break the bank and spend $58 for kids shoes when Big 5 has a great selection and multiple items on sale. As a mother of 4 I appreciate this. We will be back for our school shoes. Don't overlook this place.

What an excellent store! I had no idea the store existed, if I did I would have been shopping here for all my Sporting Goods needs. You can find everything you need here in terms of sporting goods and the price is excellent. You will not find a store that gives you better value for your money, I have no idea how they do it. I will be back here for sure!

Great local store to find outdoors hobby, games and workout items. Manager is normally very helpful on large or reserving stuff for a day or two. Signup for coupons and save $5 or more.

Friendly staff and big selection of sports equipment. A lot of good deals and ways to save on top of their already good prices. I recommend the store especially for families with multiple sports needs. The staff remember you and will help you out.

They have great deals, we checked here and Dick's Sporting Goods. We bought socks, hiking boots, and backpacks with water bladders (Camelback like system) for $60.
The service was also great! They helped us pick things and always had a smile!

This place is amazing! I always get my shoes on sale! The big tall white dude is awesome and the 19 years old kid is very helpful! Go here for sure if you want affordable shoes! Especially if you walk!

Now that sport chalet and sports authority are closed this is the only place in TO to get sporting goods and even though it's a smaller store, they had everything I needed for my last camping trip. I tried to sign up for their rewards program to get 15% off but it wasn't working so the manager gave me the discount anyway. Great customer service here.

This place awesome its a bit small but pack with stuff. Look for Chris as he knows his stuff. I have no knowledge about fishing and he was there to answer all my questions. I hope this store stick around especially Chris. How he is so knowlegable i can not fathom. Thanks Chris.

First time buying a shotgun here and the manager was very professional. His name was Jacob or Jake lol The process was smooth and fast. I walked out of there feeling great.

My daughter got her first pair of derby skates and loves them. My other 2 daughters want to go so you'll be seeing us again soon.
