Their mission is to support the Women’s Center with your donations to resell back. It’s super tight packed with stuff inside. You can probably find stuff from decades ago.. ;)

One of my favorite past-time activity is finding "Something Special" , little treasures, in resale shop. I also like that your contributions go to women in violent situations who are in need of help!!

Update:
And this review: https://g.co/kgs/xdht3h is, in my experience, a bit off-base. It is crowded, but is that a complaint? Shopping carts, seriously? Way too crowded for that! Imho, prices are something you just deal with, perhaps creatively. And no one - no one - has ever been rude to me here, in 10+ years.

This place really is something special. It is the retail extension of a charity dedicated to abused women. I give regularly, and shop there. Support them, please!

Had a lot of clothes, picture frames, and home items. Reasonably priced. Also found a set of 6 Padilla mugs for $25, retails for $75 online! Left them there for someone who wants them though 😉

A favorite place to visit when traveling north to Houston, Oak Ridge North, and The Woodlands. Helps support their charitable outreach and great place to find unique items donated by generous benefactors. Special thanks to volunteers and staff. Blessings!!

Very easy drop-offs. Kind a helpful staff. Wonderful cause. This is my go-to place for donations! They help to furnish temporary living spaces for those in need and their store helps to finance what isn't used in the living spaces. The large furniture pick-up was flawless! I'm grateful to know about this organization!

Fantastic staff. Works entirely volunteer. Customers are handled on a case by case basis creating a caring environment. All sales support the women's shelter and housing of domestic violence victims & children. Very good place to locate start up supplies of all kinds. Highly recommend.

(This is based on my donating experience, since I did that today but haven't shopped yet.) It was very easy to donate! I took some gently used clothing for donation. All you need to do is drive around to the back and someone will unload your car for you! They took my three bags of clothing, no problem. I was back out to the feeder in no time. Fast and easy. I'll be back to shop there in the future.

Great deals! Good place to get nice furniture at a great price! I work right next door so I love to snoop around during my lunch break. Their DVD and Book prices are unbeatable too. Paper back books for 75 cents! Full TV show seasons for $5.00! plus your money goes to a good cause.

If you have nice women’s clothes to donate, please bring here. They stock a warehouse where the shelter women can restock their closet Street leaving a domestic abuse situation.

Love this place. We were looking for some gentle used nursery items for our baby. We found several things. The staff were so helpful. The price is just right. We now go often to get things from there. Its never overpopulated with people and makes shopping easy.

Something Special is a resale shop located in the Portofino Shopping Center, in Shenandoah Texas. This is a nonprofit resale shop, benefiting the women shelter of Montgomery county. They have a great selection of mostly used items from furniture for knickknacks and everything in between. Prices are reasonable and they have a fairly rapid turnover of inventory because their prices are good. They take donations around the back and they are very quick, And polite.

Great place to donate AND shop! I often find unopened toys and like-new children's books. The employees are always pleasant and it's nice to know your donations help local women and families.

Very organizd and clean... wonderful place with a heartfelt mission.

Fun selection of decor and clothing. The specials vary often and never disappoint. They do have an oddly large selection of Ann Coulter books in mint condition - I mean I understand why someone would donate them but I also understand why no one buys them. #shecray

Great prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. The quality of the donated goods is very good. There's always something special in stock - - there really is! I don't live in the area but have been staging a home nearby in Spring, Texas and this store makes me want to move to Shenandoah.

My daughter and I ended up here after waiting for a tire to be replaced at Discount Tire. We bought so many great books for only $9! Will definitely come back.
