The Adventure Begins is a great place to head to if you are in need of everything from playing cards for all types of table top games, to models for games such as Warhammer and many other types, plus they have comics and characters for sale from many type of Anime.

This store is huge, it has a ton of different materials from books to cut outs, dice, decks of cards etc. It really is practically a one stop shop for anyone who enjoys table top gaming.

In addition to selling all of the above listed items they have a second story to the building, in this area they have the area where all of the table top gaming and competition goes on, you can find both casual gaming and competitive gaming going on.

Finally, they have a "Forge" this is a brilliant and a new concept where they have a 3d print shop, plus they can do buttons, badges, lamination, stickers, spines, the work and professionally paint your models for you.

I was very impressed with how professional their employees are. Aside from being some of the nicest people you can meet, they are very knowledgable about anything to do with their particular art, wether it has to do with the tabletop gaming mechanics to 3d printing or running tournaments, they are top notch and extremely polite.

This is a must place to visit, whether you are new to the tabletop genre or a lifetime professional, it is a great place to go.

While you are there, check out the Forge up stairs and see if it will fit your model creation needs. They have a catalog of items they can create for you or you can bring your own OBJ file and they can let you know how much it will cost, best price is the monthly subscription model!

5 Star from me because of not just what I previously mentioned, but this place is well organized, clean and tidy, of course friendly employees and best of show/class IMHO.

Great shop with a MASSIVE selection! The layout alone is worth the trip. I spent waaaayyyy more time here than I planned because it was so cool. They also have a really cool loyalty program and bounties for sports cards ripped in the store. I hit $50 in bounties while I was here today! Definitely check this place out!

Such an awesome store! There are an incredible amount of games and comics and figurine painting supplies…and the vibe is super cool. I love how they have a few games set up for a demonstration. When we visited there was a game happening downstairs and people hanging out upstairs. (It was close to closing time.) We asked for the Near and Far game and although it wasn’t in stock they had a way of ordering in things pretty quickly. Sad we weren’t local and could do that. Just a great place! We would highly recommend checking this place out!

Such a fun store with a little bit of everything! Comics, tabletop games, anime and comic figures, manga and all kinds of trading card games! My favorite part is the variety of TCG that they have! Make sure to check out the second floor by going to the stairs in the back.

Super nice store. 2 stories. They have manga and figures as well as other books and board games. They also have a good Warhammer section. TCG stuff upstairs. It also seemed like they had some kind of 3D printing stuff upstairs. Interesting stuff to check out on multiple visits.

People here are very friendly and are very knowledgeable about alot of the products they sell here. They have a decent variety of miniature paints and sell most card games. They also have a large upstairs area with tables if your looking for a place to play. The local scene here for most of the games is very nice, and I've yet to to encounter any issues with anyone.

A lot of variety with the statues, figures, and board games especially. They sell every competitive card game out with weekly tournaments hosted on the second floor. Best of all is the service, each person has been very helpful with acquiring what I was looking for or recommended something better for my liking, my family's, and my friends. Love going every week on payday. 👌

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. A wide variety of games, cards, and comics/manga can be found. Anything they don't have the employees will typically put an order in for you. Genuinely could not recommend this place more!!

Ive been going here for years. They have grown so much. The up stairs stadium is amazing an accommodates for all TCG players. I go weekly to play. Ryan is a great tournament organizer. The entire staff is great. I highly recommend this place.

These kinds of stores are Disneyland for me, and this place didn't disappoint! Wonderful selection of manga, comics, board games, and a whole second floor sprawl for playing games and hanging out. Looking forward to spending a lot of time here!

The pic is not from the store, but I did buy these comics at the location. They have some awesome highly prized comics for sale that are more on the rare side and those that are signed. The staff is great to talk to, they are always friendly whenever I am in, ordering is very easy, and the vibe is warming. Great deals and prizes from the store, plenty of tables to read your illustrations, play games on your laptop and more!! If you get hungry you can grab a bit to eat next door with plenty of food options and get back to what you were doing at the Adventure Begins Comic store. This is a really good place to get nerdy stuff, like DND minis and Warhammer, plus if you need a place to play, There are a ton of tables for that upstairs. They are also working on a train model witch I think is cool.

Came in with my son, niece and nephew to learn to play pokemon. The store is absolutely awesome. MJ and Mallory were great. It was really awesome seeing the people upstairs play multiple games ( I became interested in learning how to play Lorcana while the tournament was going on) We will definitely be back to play some more.

Eveytime I go, I feel like more than just a customer. I also love to bring my grandsons, and the staff could not be nicer to them. Every card, every piece of memorabilia I’ve bought are treasures to me.. there may be other stores in this metropolis, but the store is my #1…..

Best board game selection that I’ve seen in the Houston area, very cool. Deep catalogue that included older hard to find games as well as hotness games and kickstarters. Prices were fair.

Hands down the best game shop I’ve ever been to. I drive out here all the way from Kingwood because of how much they have to offer. I will recommend this store to ANYONE I know.

Great place to go and share a great experience for anyone who loves the hobby. Their stadium Side is top notch for those who are looking for great prices and great sports card products. They also do fun events and really do a great job. Would highly recommend stopping by and checking them out.

Don’t wanna risk opening packs, they have you covered. There is also a very nice selection of singles to choose from.

If you are looking to send that “hot” card in for grading, they will handle your PSA submission for you.

There is a significant loyalty rewards program and they give bounties on numbered cards that are opened in the store.

The employees are very knowledgeable and will help guide you to exactly what you are looking for while always giving fair market value giving you the best bang for your buck. There are comfortable couches, break tables and TVs always playing sports.

It is definitely a comfortable place to spend time networking and meeting other people in the hobby.
