I don’t ever write reviews but I just felt like I should tell you how this place is such a small family type grocery store. I went to say and my total was like $43.09 I was looking in my purse for change and the nice lady ringing me up was like don’t worry about the change. I think she thought I only had $43 so she took out 9 cents from her pocket and put it in the register for me. I thought that was such a sweet gesture I wish I got her name. But if Doris reads these. I came on Saturday 3/9 at 415. I hope you see this comment and tell all your employees working today that they are doing an awesome job. In today’s society we can use more of that kindness.

Excellent Doris Italian Market & Bakery - I had never been to one before. Found the location to be conducive as it's close to major roads, has an accessible parking lots, and situated close to other businesses and restaurants. Really enjoyed seeing the bakery section as it was huge. There is plenty of food and products to look at and purchase.

YOU MUST VISIT DORIS ITALIAN MARKET AND BAKERY. The wine variety, the fresh bakery goodies, the olives , the cheeses and all the good stuff from Italy is here. Is a good grocery store with Italian favorites items. And it’s super clean, nice smell and atmosphere❤

Great Italian market in Sunrise! If you are nostalgic about your Italian grandmother’s food, or you are simply into their specialties and fare, the place has a lot of goodies and options. They have products you cannot find in mainstream markets. The place has a bakery, wines, a cheese department, etc. Check it out!

My very first time shopping there and it absolutely lives up to the hype!!! Fabulous selection, fabulous staff and I even made a friend waiting for the most delicious sausage from the meat market. #badabing 🇮🇹 10/10

As an American of Italian descent, I learned from an early age that only quality ingredients are acceptable in an Italian kitchen! Doris’s in Sunrise is my favorite place to shop for meat, fish, cheese, fresh produce and seasonal Italian specialties! Before you even enter the store, pots overflowing with fresh herbs greet you on the left, and upon entering, beautiful sunflowers are right there to put in your basket! Mounds of seasonal veggies like artichokes and bushels of colorful peppers are irresistible, and the holiday offerings straight from Italy are fantastic! I particularly love the chestnuts arriving in autumn, from Firenze, in huge burlap bags, and the gorgeously fabric wrapped giant Easter Eggs in the spring remind me of holidays past. They offer an impressive array of cheeses, the fish, especially Corvina, is super fresh, and their fennel Italian sausage is out of this world. Good wine selection. This market is a joy, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and they have everything you need to cook like a pro!

The best deli, market and bakery in South Florida bar none. Amazing and authentic food, the bakery is my favorite part. Feels like I went to Italy. 1st class staff who are always nice and helpful. Anyone in South Florida that is not going to Doris’ for their Italian cuisine is missing the boat completely.

Always a delight to shop here !! They have some really good speciality products . Fresh mozzarella fresh ricotta that I only find here . Love this store

I've been looking for a specialized butcher for man meat Mondays and this place KILLS it!!! I paid almost $10 more per pound for USDA Prime at other places and didn't get a steak as well marbled, fresh or tender as the USDA Choice at Doris. I can't wait to try out the rest of their meat selections, but this place is a gem! The produce section is also very well stocked with plenty of diversity, especially the herbs. You'll pay about half as much here as you will at Publix, and get 2-3x more. That's winning if you ask me!

As always clean place, fresh meat, great selection of cheese, amazing cakes selection, friendly cashier and good prices. Go and check it out.

This place always has fresh food, pizza dough, cold cuts, upscale vegetables, sandwiches, good overall grocery store

First time there. Went for their Italian bakery. Boy was I not disappointed. Second to none for a specialty fresh market. Everything in the bakery looked enticing and delicious. Really hard to choose. I went for a pastry platter for a party. They have an excellent selection and reasonable prices for a superior level of goods. Friendly service. And the store has a lot more, Deli, Meats, Produce, and other epicurean gourmet delights.

This supermarket is amazing!! You will find the ingredients for italian dishes. It is so clean and it is not expensive. It worth it. I recommend 150%.

Everything you need in an Italian market. Deli meats, Fresh butchered/ground Meat, Seafood and Homemade soups and sauces. Try the pesto! So good!! Fresh Bread, mozzarella cheese, desserts n Fresh Market produce, Quality.
Frozen delicious premade meals. ie dishes like ravioli, stuffed shells, never had a bad batch.
You are paying for Quality and it's slightly less expensive then Publix and totally worth it!!

A MUST GO TO for anyone who loves Italian food. NYers (and former NYers) flock to this place for authentic Italian food and ingredients. I wish I had discovered this place when we first moved here.
The meats and cheeses are all great and well priced, the frozen pastas are great, including the stuffed types, the pastries are awesome.
The produce is stunningly fresh.
It's crowded around the holidays, so be prepared, the picture here was taken on Christmas Eve Eve of 2018 fairly early in the day.

Abondanza! They have everything you need and more! Worth the trip-everything so fresh.
