Stop & Shop

Parking is always easy, store is rarely overly crowded, and food selection is pretty good. This is my go to grocery store for Bayonne. Lidl nearby has better prices overall but significantly less selection of items and no self check out. Shoprite on Ave C has a slightly better selection, prices are slightly higher, but parking there can be a pain and it is usually much more crowded. S&S is the perfect blend of what you need. Easy parking, good prices and selection, and a fast checkout (especially if you use self checkout).

The Stop & Shop near Madison and Chatham is excellent. It is very large and has an extensive selection. It is one of the only places where I can find many gluten-free products.

Clean and organized store with friendly staff members. Always have exactly what I need anytime I need it. Fresh fruits and meats. Unlike other markets that put spoiled meat and fruits on the shelves (Aqui) they don’t here at stop & shop.

A Supermarkets that's getting better of late. They started by improving the layout, combining foods and ingredients in such a way to make them easier to find and groupings that work well together.

It was fine. Found a few sales. God, things are expensive..in general. No wait. Needed customer service for something. They were very helpful. I commend them. Otherwise, it was fine.

This place is amazing! We have been going here for 9 years. The food is always fresh. They make everything the way it should be! The store is much cleaner than it used to be. They upgraded a lot of things. I hope someone see this!

I enjoy shopping here. It’s always clean and fully stocked. The staff are relatively helpful and it’s usually never a wait to check out unless it’s around the holidays.

I wish i could say that the reorganization of the departments and products helped make the store easier to navigate, but I can't.

Whenever I try to find a product that has been moved, it becomes a game of hot or miss when it comes to discovering the new location.

Even worse is that when I ask a manager where something might be located, they usually don't know either.

Seriously... nobody knows where either the breadcrumbs or the Safe Catch tuna is located!

Great all over …only thing is don’t go to early because if you looking to get some fruit,veg or meat you ended up with nothing….

I love this pharmacy. The pharmacy staff is very nice and friendly. There is never a line or wait time. The Female pharmacist is always so helpful with my medications and goes out of her way to reach out to doctor/Insurance very fast. The technician there are also amazing. I would highly recommend to get your prescriptions here.

My go to place besides Walmart. Can always find what you are looking for and also carry more of the newer items. Always clean.

They recently restructured the entire store and also changed their interior color schemes to reflect a modern look. This store looks and feels much organized after these upgrades. I never had a problem getting most of the stuff I needed during peak of COVID and best of all no ridiculously long lines.

Biggest store ever and all options available compared to jersey city and surrounding ones. Definitely recommended for people who live in Greenville and Bayonne area

I've been shopping here since the first day it opened. The meats, fish, produce, vegetables and fruit are always fresh.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
They recently remodeled the store and it is even better.

Fresh fruit and vegetables. One of the first stores to carry plant based foods. The prices are a bit higher than other grocery store chains, but you get what you pay for.
