This place, at first, seems expensive. Upon closer inspection, you'll see that between constant discounting sales, digital coupons, "with card" pricing, and jay c plus membership, you'll find extraordinary value. Last tear from January 1, to December 31, I saved well north of 1650, PLUS fuel discounts!!! All told, not only is there amazing sales, and digital savings, their products are much higher quality than all of that mess sold at other local grocery stores. Also, the clientele are kinder, socially elevated, and most importantly, the staff from checkers to department workers to baggers ALL are clean, well kept, friendly, and eager to really help. EVEN if it's NOT their department! Which, sorry, not sorry, walmart, but Jay c has NO competition with the other two stores in scottsburg. It's worth the time and trouble to create an account, clip the coupons, begin to save thousands of dollars EVERY year on food AND gas! In this INSANE economy, it's the ONLY store looking out for their customers!! ALWAYS clean,ALWAYS friendly, ALWAYS on point with YOUR family's budget in mind! Kudos Jay C Kudos! Thanks for thinking of your customers and being the best all across the board!

Local shopping center, great for quick shopping. Not as cheap generally as Walmart, but less traffic and some items Walmart doesn't carry

They had remodeled the store. I had only gone in to pick up a few things yesterday. But I ended up buying more than I thought. There were things on Sale that I was able to purchase using my Plus Card. I ended up saving almost $13.00. I bought meat from the Deli and some Frozen Goods. The Cashier was very friendly.

This is a local store for me so I go here all the time and the staff are always friendly and happy to assist you

Friendly helpful staff. Better, healthier choices. The Kroger tuna, bacon and deli chicken is the best in our County along with great service with a smile. Hometown selection out weighs Walmart 3 to one.

Clean aisles and everyone is very friendly. Some customers like to talk in the middle of the aisles but I really like this store.

Much better than the Wal-Mart bullsh!t, which is the only other option, and as a subsidy of Krogers, they sometimes have better deals on certain products than other retailers in town, and their associates are always friendly, and willing to go the extra mile. The one area the store does fall short is doing any type of Western Union or money transaction, because finding an associate that isn't busy or have a negative attitude can be challenging, especially when trying to buy or sell crypto-currency to feed your baby and they are looking at you like you're Pablo Escobar and $300 is $250k lmao... no Nancy, you're not helping anyone with your attitude, and I'm not a kingpin so please just send the fkn Western Union for Christ's sake. That's my review of Jay-C.

Best place to shop in town. Cashiers are always friendly and helpful! Caitlyn is my favorite cashier and always has a smile on her face.

Didn't buy very much, except for pizza rolls and some blind bags. I only go to JayC for certain items on sale; I prefer to shop at Save-a-lot because they are cheaper

Shop at different locations. Like shopping at the one located in Sellersburg Indiana. It has a little larger variety. Very clean. Polite employees.

Consistently best prices, produce quality, deals & friendliness in town! Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas (which is a plus for me- shows me that they are a family friendly employer)!
